this story is from my imagination as always A gurl named Shim Chaerin born in 1998 is the little sister of Shim changmin from TVXQ she was born in Georgia but she visited Korea when she was 6 to show support for her brothers debut.
It was December 24, 2012 Mom is already busy cooking the foods for our celebration, while I'm decorating the table and the living room.
/ Afternoon /
The family started to come one by one. There's my Dad's brother Jiwon Samchon, his wife Daeun Imo. Their 3 children Dohyun Oppa 22, Eunji 12, and the youngest Jinho 10.
My Mom's parents Gyungho harabeoji, Harin halmeoni. Dad's parents also came Ji-ho harabeoji, Sun Hee halmeoni.
Jiwon: Chaerin-ah, your so big already
Chaerin: I'm still small though
We all hugged each other since this the first time they saw me after I joined the company in Seoul.
Gyungho: your getting taller, Chaerin-ah
Ji-ho: you'll be taller than your Dad soon
Dad: I hope that doesn't happen
They all laughed.
Harin: how's school, Chaerin-ah?
Chaerin: it's been good
Jiwon: I heard your going to have your first game next year
Chaerin: ah, yes, Seoul Highschool vs Shanghai Highschool
Sun hee: wah, your competing with Shanghai already
Chaerin: yeah, I was shocked too when they said we're competing with them
Daeun: Advance Goodluck
Chaerin: thank you
Gyungho: So, when is Changmin coming?
Mom: he's on his way, he just texted me
Harin: that's good to hear
The wives help Mom in the kitchen, while I watch a movie with others in the living room.

before we eat, we took some photos together and played some games. Changmin Oppa already arrived.
Chaerin: Oppa!
Changmin: oh, Chaerin-ah
I hugged him since I haven't seen him in a while even though we belong to the same company.
After hanging out for a while we finally decided to eat.
Oh and I almost forgot me and Changmin Oppa won't be staying for the new year, we'll be going back to Korea. I know it's sad not celebrating the New Year with your family, but I hope we can celebrate it together one day.
While the others are still eating, I'm already done eating so I sat down in the living room using my phone, Changmin Oppa approached me and asked me a question.
Changmin: Chaerin-ah, how's your training so far?
Chaerin: it's okay
Changmin: you know you've been with the company for quite a long time, it's been 7 years already
Chaerin: yeah, I know
Changmin: are you sure your doing fine? I heard your part of the volleyball team in your school and your going to compete with a different school next year
Chaerin: actually, I've had some struggles, seeing the other trainees debut and I get left out, like f(x) Unnies they always took care of me, now that they debuted already I cannot see them that much. I wonder if in the upcoming years other groups might debut and I'll be left alone again, especially now that EXO Oppa's have debuted almost all of them got to debut, all the trainees that I knew are gone and now the company is going to add new ones. It's hard to make friends especially when you don't know them.
Changmin: if your struggling, you can tell me, I know that I'm not always present when you need me but I'm always open for conversations like this, don't be shy to show what your feeling if you feel like you want to cry then cry, I know it hurts to trap the hard feelings inside you. I've never seen you cry before, so it feels weird
Chaerin: I do cry but I just don't show it, I don't like people to worry and I hate attention as well
Changmin: showing what you feel, doesn't seek any attention, I never wanted you to join the company in the first place but I saw how eager you were when you wanted to audition so I said yes. And I saw your evaluation videos as well and you know what I saw? I saw the progress you were making, I always get the news when you would practice overtime like from 9 pm to 2 or 3 am
Chaerin: how come you see the progress in my evaluations and I don't
Changmin: you have a talent, your not just my little sister but you are you, and I know you'll be a big star one day you just have to wait for the right time, okay?
Chaerin: okay
Changmin: if you need someone to talk to, I'm always available no matter what
Chaerin: Thank you, Oppa
Changmin: Your always welcome, love you, Chaerinie
Chaerin: love you too
I was so touched when me and my brother had that conversation it was the very first time that we talked that long, I hope we get to talk like this more in the future.
