Let's skip time to 2006 where Chaerin was 8 years old

( At my Aunt's house )

( After a year I still can't forget what made my brother mad, it was because of that pink card some lady gave me. So I decided to ask my aunt about it if she knew anything )

Chaerin: Auntie!

Aunt: what?

Chaerin: can I ask you a question

Aunt: sure, spill it

Chaerin: a year ago some lady gave me a pink card, she said call the number in that card if I change my mind

Aunt: where did she saw you?

Chaerin: when we visited Oppa in his Company

( I saw the look in her face she was shocked of what I said )

Aunt: Oh my god! You got scouted!

Chaerin: that's what mom said, what does it mean?

Aunt: well, basically scouted means a talent company like SM is going to train you to be a singer like what your brother is doing now

Chaerin: like a Celebrity?

Aunt: yes, but since your in Korea they call it Kpop Idols

/ Back at home /

( I really wanted to talk to mom about it but I'm afraid she might say no since I'm still to young )

Chaerin: Eomma, I have to say something

Mom: what is it?

Chaerin: I want to be a kpop idol

( Mom almost dropped the bowl with kimchi in it )

Mom: what?

Chaerin: I want to be on stage

Mom: your 8 Sammie

Chaerin: but I want to

Mom: no

Chaerin: please🙏🏻

( I begged so that she'll say yes )

Mom: ok, ok I'll let you try

Chaerin: yey!

Mom: but you have to please your Father, especially your brother

( I knew she would say that )

( Dad surprisingly said yes, but for my brother I needed to please him he didn't answer any of mom calls when I said I wanted to audition, I cried for it so he said yes. Now I can audition without any problems, my whole family said yes! )

( The auditions was going to be held on a Saturday May 7, 2006 I want the only kid there maybe 7 or 8 kids were there )

( We went there as early as possible Mom went with me Dad went to work. The line was so long but they let the kids first, before we went inside the room Oppa approached us and wished me good luck )

( I was the first one to audition I sang Boa Sunbaenim's Atlantic Princess then I danced to H.O.T Sunbaenim's Warrior Descendants my mom taught me the dance )

( The founder of SM himself was there to judge and Boa Sunbaenim, Kangta Sunbaenim and some coaches who I believe would be my future mentors )

- After Audition -

Chaerin: thank you

Lee Soo man: hi, how old are again?

Chaerin: 8

Boa: 8? Wow your a very good dancer at your age

Kangta: your vocals to is good but still very fresh since your still young

Lee Soo man: you chose the right song for your voice

Kangta: overall your performance was great

Boa: good facial expressions

( I was so happy when they gave my compliments about my dancing and singing I was relieved )

Mom: good job

( She kissed my forehead )

Mom: how was it? What did they say?

Chaerin: they said I was a good singer and dancer for my age

Mom: oh, that's good news come on I'll buy you teokkboki

( After 3 days of waiting for the results they finally called us and said )

Caller: hi, good afternoon I'm a staff at Sm Entertainment. Are you by any chance the Mother of Miss Chaerin?

Mom: yes, I am

Caller: I just want to tell you that she passed the audition last Saturday and we want to talk to you and your daughter this afternoon for the schedules

Mom: oh my goodness, sure we'll be there

Caller: good, thank you ma'am

Mom: thank you, bye

( After the intense phone call Mom told me the Greatest news )

Mom: you passed the Audition!

( I was so happy and screamed so much, mom hugged me tightly )

Mom: your an official Trainee at Sm Entertainment! Oh by the way we have to go to SM they have to tell us something

( I went back to my room to get change )
