(The picture is from Esty. I don't know own it. It is the closest thing I could find for my idea of Lara's engagement ring.)

That evening, Danny was getting ready to stream. He announced earlier that he would be on and he wanted to talk about something important. He was logging in and he could see the chat already going crazy with questions.

"Hey beautiful people. It is your boi, Danny Phantom EXE. First, I want to apologize to you, my fans who have been reaching out with concern and worry. I have not been myself." Danny took a breath.

Lara sent him a text. You got this. She was there, watching the stream like she said would.

"You all know I have talked about my relationship with my parents and brother. You all know that I am (wrist flick) and what I am about. What I have not shared with you is, and I was giving the green light to share this because I need to talk about it, that I have a girlfriend and we have been together nearly four years." The chat lit up with hearts and congratulations.

"Yea, she has read a few Wattpad stories and usually points out the blatant differences." Danny answered a few questions. "We met at a park, she had gone through a horrible break up and I asked if she would like to come with me and the guys to have a better night and we have been together since."

"Now, the reason I am telling you all this is six months ago, my girlfriend was in a terrible car accident. She suffered an incomplete spinal cord injury along with broken ribs. Since then, I have been neglecting myself to care of her. The other day, she tried to break up with me so I could start living my life again." Danny explained, trying not to get emotional. The chat was full of sad faces, more hearts with get well wishes, and a few links to information about new age medicines and physical therapy.

"She was not successful in breaking up with me by the way. I am not letting her go for anything. I love her and I can see myself spending the rest of my life with her...what? Is this your proposal to her? Oh, I mean, she is watching, but I would not..." Danny stopped, realizing that he said too much. More hearts and now rings started to pop up in the chat.

His phone was ringing. "Hi baby." Danny answered shyly, knowing that what was going to happen was either going to be really bad or really good.

"Daniel! Are you proposing to me through your stream channel?" Lara gripped the phone in her hand. She was sitting at her computer, and she was in utter shock. His words were so sweet, and she knew that he meant everything he was saying. When the chat started to ask about him proposing to her was when she comprehended the underlaying message.

"Lara, I would...I planned...Oh hell." Danny turned to his computer and find her username. "Turn your camera on." He had her as he opened the link to invite her to join him on the stream. She popped up, wearing the headphone with cat ears. Her hair was down, and she was dressed in one of his shirts.

"Everyone, this is Lara, the love of my life which might end the next time I see her because this is not what I had in mind." Danny told the stream, pressing his lips together. What the fuck have I done? He asked himself in his head.

"Are you serious, Danny?" Lara asked in disbelief. "Hi everyone. I am Lara." She waved to the camera. "You could not ask me over dinner?"

"When I tried that before, you got into the accident." Danny confessed. "Lara, I asked you to dinner to propose to you. I had the ring in my pocket and everything. When I heard what happen, I was worried sick that it was you. And it was. Lara, I felt like it was my fault." Tears started to swim in his eyes.

"Danny, baby. The truck ran the red light. If it was not me, it would have been someone else and worse could have happen." Lara spoke as the chat was filling the space with love and support for the couple. One offered to marry them for free. Another offered an event space to hold the wedding.

"I nearly lost you that night. Now, I am worried you would say no because you think it is out of pity and not love." Danny was wiping tears away. His phone was blowing up with Arny, Pete, and Brandon calling him. They were watching the stream too.

"I love you, Danny and I would not think that. You have been my biggest support after my parents. You have done so much for me, and I am talking about before the accident. You helped me see my self-worth. You helped me to love myself. Danny, OMG!" Lara took off her headphones and rolled out of frame, shouting about getting her purse. She was back with her purse in her lap. She placed the headphones back in her head. "That night, I was going to propose to you!" Lara fished out a ring box.

"What?" Danny's voice came out in a peep.

"Yes. I was going to talk you into going out that weekend. They were having a huge Magic the Gathering thing and I was proposed during the event." Lara confessed still holding the box. "When you said let's have dinner out, I thought that would be better. During dessert, just opened it and ask. I was surprised that no one found it in there. Thankful too. I still wanted to propose, but I didn't want you to feel obligated to say yes."

"Lara...I will be there in ten minutes."

Thirty minutes later...

"Hi again. I had to change the location of the stream since I decided to propose to my girl...now fiancée." Danny opened the stream with Lara sitting in his lap. The people were still there and sending out hearts, smiley faces, and more. "Show the rings, okay." Danny took her camera off the computer to get a close up of the daisy flower inspired pearl ring with diamond accents in the platinum setting. It was already on her finger.

"I love it." Lara kissed Danny, making the chat go 'awe'.

"And when I tell you that this woman knows me, this ring explains it." Danny showed his, a thicker band of platinum with a pearl insert in the middle. On the inside of the band was words in Yiddish. "It says, foretold before we knew." Danny translated the inscription. Lara took the ring from him and slipped it on his left hand.

"I have no clue. We talked about things we wanted in a wedding before. I am just happy that I get to plan our dream wedding together." Lara told the chat when the questions of dresses and cakes came up.

"We will keep you all posted and will give updates since I basically proposed over this stream session. Live streaming our wedding?! That might be a bit much because just of what would be happening at the moment. I don't think it would be capture well."

"Share the video on YouTube?" Lara suggested.

"I can't believe I proposed to you like this." Danny shook his head. It was still unreal that Lara was now his fiancée.

"Believe it." She kissed his cheek. "Because I said yes."
