Three months later at Danny's synagogue...

Danny was looking in a mirror, fixing his yarmulke. Today was the day that Lara and he would be husband and wife. Many said they were rushing it. Only her parents and Diana said don't wait any longer. Danny's parents had their worries but supported their son and future daughter in law.

"Dad, how do I look?" Danny turned to Robert. He went with a simply black suit pant and jacket. It was matched with a shirt and pocket square of a parchment color. The double-breasted vest matched the suit.

His dad looked at the man that his little boy became. Robert blinked the tears from his eyes. "Like a man ready to marry the live of his life."

"I am." He gave his dad a hug before putting on their boutonnières. "Arny, you got the ring?" He called out. Arny, Pete, and Brandon all held up a ring box. Apollo who was dressed in a dog suit barked from the floor, there was a ring box in his paws.

"It is here...in one of the boxes?" Pete said looking at the other two. The boxes were open and the ring with in the one Arny had.

Danny looked at friends and back at his dad with a wide-eyed expression. Robert patted his shoulder. "This is why I was not worried about you at your bachelor party. Can't find you way out of a paper bag."

"We got a bit crazy." Pete defeated their night together.

"Spend half the night throwing up soju and the other half trying to convince Lara to run away and get married." Robert gave Danny a fatherly look. "While dressed up in cosplay at your house."

"Crazy cosplay costumes." Pete pointed out.

"She said that we had to wait for the wedding day." Danny crossed his arms. Robert shook his head.

The door opened and one of the rabbis poked his head in. "It's time, gentlemen."

Let's do this." Danny said, taking a breath. He has never been more excited.

In the temple, family and friends were gathered. Soft music was playing as Danny's parents with Rhea walked together. Soon, the groomsmen escorted the bridesmaids to the altar. Arny led Lara's maid of honor who was her cousin and lifelong friend (not the one from her first attempt to getting married). Danny walked with the rabbi down the aisle. The flower girls, younger cousin on Lynn (Danny's mom)'s side tossed red petals while Apollo walked between them with a pillow on his back.

"Danny, the music. Is that..." Arny started to whisper to him.

"Yea. We agreed on no traditional wedding music." The music was the piano version of their favorite anime. "Wait for when her dad brings Lara in." Danny whispered in.

The door opened to reveal Lara in her wedding dress and a bouquet of roses and sunflowers. She looked beautiful with the dress that she chose; the one Danny fell in love with. Her hair was up in a graceful bun with small curls about her face. Her makeup was natural except for her bold red lip that match the red in the roses.

Her father was standing behind the wheelchair. The music started to play (the theme of Zelda) and the two started down the aisle. Everyone was watching Lara.

The music stopped. The people started to murmur about. Danny looked over at the piano player. They seem to be watching for a que. He looked back to the aisle.

Lara was handing her bouquet to Diana who was seated on the end of the pew. Lara looked up to her father and nodded. He locked the wheelchair. Taking a breath, Lara lifted herself from the chair. Taking her father's arm, she stepped away. Diana gave Lara back her bouquet. The music started again.

"Danny, she's walking." Arny excitedly said, grabbing Danny as they watched Lara and Dale coming up the aisle. Pete handed Danny a tissue for tears of joy were falling. He was speechless.

He wanted to rush to her, hold her, but he stayed in place. She had to have work so hard to do this. Danny was not going to take one single second of her triumph from her.

There was not a dry eye in the building by the time Lara and her father made it to the altar. Finally, Danny went to her so her father could her hand in his.

"Danny, the kiss comes after the vows." Brandon said when Danny kiss Lara after taking her hand. He held her close, nearly forgetting that they were getting married.

"New tradition." Danny said, helping her the rest of the way. The vows were said, the ring was search for once again. Wine was drunk. Danny crushed the glass under his foot. The announcement was made to seal their union with a kiss. Danny dipped Lara, kissing her for the first time as his wife.

"Danny, I don't think I have the strength walk back down the aisle." Lara told him as they started parting from the altar. Danny smiled and picked her up in his arms. Giving her another kiss, they move forth into their lives together.
