(Sin's POV)
They were currently giving Shye an emergency blood transfusion because she lost quite a bit. I still don't know how long she was laid there without help. We didn't know the extent of her injuries yet and saying I was woried was putting it lightly. When I heard she was at the bottom of the stairs, unconscious as well, I felt my heart stop for a minute. I generally worried for her and when she wakes up, I'll tell her how much she means to me. Mama and dad had managed to get here just as we pulled up to the hospital as well. Vincent was here as well. He was sat across from us, scowling at me while his brother sat next to him an indifferent look on his face.
"Why do I have to fucking be here because your dumbass little bitch was clumsy and fell down the stairs." Lev grumbled out looking up from his phone. It took everything in me not to stand up and punch him, but Vincent further proved my point about him hurting Lev if he so much as spoke about Shye. Vincent ripped Lev's phone out of his hand and threw on the ground. I looked down and saw that the screen had shattered and the brothers had begun to argue loudly. So loudly that Vincent and Lev were kicked out of the hospital for disturbing patients.
"Are you here for Shye Rucchi?" a doctor came and asked us and we all just nodded.
"Well she has suffered a severe concussion and she should probably experience vomitting, memory issues, headaches and sluggish for the next week or so. She has a distal radius fracture in her right wrist. That should take 4 weeks to heal. We've had to give her some stitches in her forehead and she has some minor cuts and bruises up her arms and legs and on her face, however they should heal soon." he finished.
"Is she still unconscious?" I asked and the doctor nodded.
"She should be regaining her conscious in a couple hours, maybe even tomorrow morning depending on how severe her concussion will be. We won't be able to fully tell until she is awake." I nodded in reply.
"Are we allowed to go in and sit near her?" Jenna asked looking at the doctor hopefully. He smiled and nodded.
"Feel free to go in her room, visting hours end at 7:30 though." he replied and we all nodded.
"Shye's in room 346 on the second floor, just go up that staircase and to you left. She is still getting some blood transfused, so try not to get to close and move her body." he advised us and then waved goodbye. We all headed to Shye's room, quiet and solemn, but relieved deep down that she was ok and would survive. I opened the door to the room softly and everyone filed in behind me. Shye looked paler than usual and her hair flatter. She had a needle in he left arm and many bandages that littered what we could see of her body. She had a cast on her right wrist and she just looked like she was sleeping.
"Who do you think pushed her?" Leon whispered to me.
"You think someone pushed her as well." I whispered back. He just nodded.
"I think that Avery and her cronies had something to do with it, but there's no way the school will believe me if I say that Avery planned for Shye to get pushed down a flight of stairs." I replied quietly. Leon paused for a moment and I could tell that he was thinking about something.
"What if it wasn't her who pushed Shye, what if she asked someone to do it?"
"Yeah, I thought about that, but who is that desperate to agree to pushed someone down a flight of stairs. If she hit her head wrong, Shye could have died, nobody wants to risk that even for Avery." I replied. Leon nodded, but I couldn't say I didn't agree. Avery definitely had something to do with it and her bastard boyfriend and bitchy friends, they definitely knew something about what had happened. My only question is why? Why would Avery wait till now specifically to hurt Shye like this. She had ample opportunity, so I'm guessing that Shye knew something that Avery didn't want anyone to know. I hoped Shye's memories were still intact when she woke up because I need to know who pushed her. Whoever pushed her wasn't stupid because they pushed her in a blind spot for the cameras, so all you would see if Shye "falling" down the stairs. You wouldn't see who pushed her. You wouldn't even guess that anyone pushed her. You would boil it down to her being clumsy. I definitely would be looking into this. I would use every resource in my arsenal to figure out who pushed Shye. I wouldn't stop until I knew who did it.
