12:46am, noon
I stood there, not knowing what to say. Tom asked me out on a date. He was very attractive, but It was so fast. I put a smile on my face. "I would love too." Tom smiled and left, walking to his own dorm that was a couple of doors down the left.
I closed the door and immediately grabbed my laptop and sat down on the couch. I opened the laptop and clicked skype. I wanted to contact my sister. Not my mother. Not my Father. My sister.
She picked up the call. "Hey what's up?" She asked. "I just got asked out." I blurted out. "What?!" I heard two voices. My brother stood up from my sisters bed. "Oh hey Santiago. Anyway yeah. That's what just happened."
"Y/n you have been there for less than a week!!" Maria said. "Yeah I know." I looked away from the screen. "I don't blame you. You come from an attractive family." Maria shrugged. I nodded at her.
"What's his name?" Maria said grabbing something from her counter. "Tom Hoffmann." Santiago chuckled. "That's a funny name." He let out another chuckle. I rolled my eyes. "Well, do you like him?" Maria said.
"I don't know. We just went out for breakfast twice!" Maria frowned. "How can he ask you out after seeing you eat?" Santiago had a disgusted look on his face. "Look who's talking." I looked back at him "Your not helping." Maria looked back at Santiago and gave him a smack.
Maria looked back to the screen. "Do you feel comfortable around him?" She asked as she was putting on some lip gloss. I thought about it. "I think so. I mean, he saw my medusa tattoo and I told him about it."
Maria stopped putting her lip gloss on and looked at the screen. Santiago dropped whatever he was doing and ran to the laptop. "That's a big thing to share." Maria set down her gloss. "I know." I fidgeted with my clothing.
Santiago sighed. "As long as he treats you right." I smiled at my siblings. We talked for about another hour until I had to say goodbye. I closed my laptop and set it on my work desk. I heard a knock at my dorm.
I opened it and saw Sofia standing there with a bunch of snacks. I gave her a confused look. "Movie night!!!" She said as she barged into my room. "Sofia it's 2 o'clock." She looked at me. "So?" I laughed and closed the door. following her to the couch.
