i just abandoned this for longer than i planned-

3rd Person POV:

The short male clicked his tongue and he started ripping apart another persuasive letter. At this point he doesn't even need to read them, the wax isn't even pulled off because i'd be the same warning.

"Tsk, this is bullshit.. this fucking asshole..."

He couldn't even gather up enough curses to describe the way he feels towards Schlatt. First time he actually just married him for the money and power, considering his business(idk which kind, probably gun trafficking or some shit) but.. now the male is regretting it so deeply. Schlatt wasn't only an alcoholic fuck, but he was pointlessly obsessive.. he would restrict Quackity from leaving the house or meeting up with his friends. For all he knew, Schlatt was hella jealous about Sapnap and Karl too for caring about him so much and.. always being there incase things would take a violent turn.

Schlatt knows everything.

He knows every single preference of Big Q's, everything he's insecure about, his past, his childhood, his dislikes. At first you'd think it's sweet that someone cares so much for their lover to go all out to learn about their life, but Schlatt used it against him. Not to mention that Quackity trusted him with keeping his secret, this really does backfire when all of the insults that fill up those envelopes are "blood sucking monster" or "vile animal"
Quackity regretted this more than everything he's ever done in his life. Because he actually got attached to Schlatt, he actually thought that Schlatt would go all out to protect his identity. Now Big Q is on bad terms with the king because he was instructed to keep the secret, and now his doorstep has countless of letters from Schlatt, all of him begging Quackity to get back with him. And he's threatening the ravenette with making it a wide known thing, that vampires exist... though his choice of warning is rather poor, considering that people would consider him nuts if he actually told them that. Vampire fanatics are always treated like illiterates, for making such a big rally, protesting with the intention that something is to be done about the "vampires" which there is no evidence about. Only the dead bodies that pile up, and feral people catching rabies. None of the vampires go and to give themselves out, after all you don't want your species to go extinct again.

Quackity gritted his teeth and took a few hard kicks into the trashcan, letters piled up inside but..
...
Those letters weren't all from Schlatt.

Some were probably just people trying to reach out and comforting him about the divorce, but Big Q just dumped them all in the trash. He wasn't gonna deal with the worry of others, he hated being pitied...

But.. what is this?

The ravenette lowered down and picked a distinct letter, why did it stand out? The wax which held the envelope sealed was a russet color, the others are red with a mark on them to tell who is sending you the letters. But this letter had a simple.. smiley face carved into it?

...

Quackity muttered a curse under his breath as he realised, that is definitely Karl's. Karl likes to mix the colors in the wax depending on who wrote the letter or who is mentioned in it, and normally the russet colour would mean.. purple and orange.

Big Q gently ripped the wax off and opened the envelope, then took out the letter. Just as he expected it was.. well a lot of consolation and care, even though it was all words Quackity couldn't help but soften up at every phrase Karl used in the letter. It's as if i'd be like how it was before Schlatt, Karl would sit on Quackity's couch and tell him a sugary poem that he was writing on. He sounded so stoned, he probably smoked something before coming to Quackity's. But the ravenette didn't mind because whenever Karl was out if it, he'd just talk about how precious their relationship is to him. And then there would be Sapnap walking in on it, holding a tray of freshly baked cookies... he'd explain how Bad teached him that recipe and they should try it. He would never fail cooking, it was his best trait.
