3rd Person POV:

Puffy walked down on the same stagnant stone, over to the front door. She made sure to gingerly open it as to not drop the casserole with sponge cake she was holding. It was her favourite, with cherries, Nikki adds them to almost all of her baked goods with the thought that someone might have a taste while she's not paying attention.

Puffy couldn't help just cracking up a small smile whenever she thought about it, but she sometimes felt this is unusual to her. A normal life? Closure? It felt unnatural to go by a motionless routine and hope nothing would go wrong.

An unacknowledged sigh escaped her mouth.

And that reminded her of that haunting voice asking her "Why do people sigh?" simply as a joke, it was almost as if she was a ghost though she wasn't dead. No wonder he's so similar to her, it's like they're twins.. always asking strange questions to break the deafening silence, always being the sunray to- lighten up the dark minded people, but then there's that side that's so confusing, that you're unable to figure out. The side that makes you realise you.. know nothing about this person.

Puffy made her way in quietly, though if anybody was in the house they're definitely not sleeping at this hour, especially not Dream. She went over to the kitchen and placed the casserole down on a counter.

She headed upstairs and walked down this unusually quiet hall, past Drista's bedroom door which was drawn over with countless of silly sketches, some made by Tubbo and others by her, and at the very bottom of the door there was written "Dream was here :)" with a green marker to which he has been responded with "nobody cares." which was written with a purple marker. The sight of it made Puffy smile faintly before she made her way to her bedroom.

She then walked up to the bed and placed her satchel down on it, but before she'd get anything done she stopped when realising somebody was near. Though she didn't hear any footsteps in the hall, she just had that feeling.. that muscle memory which she was used to. It almost reminded her of things she thought passed by.

Dream leaned by the doorway with his arms crossed.

"Duckling? What's up?" Puffy asked as she greeted him with a light voice, her mind didn't acknowledge reflexively it was Dream but she purely said it by instinct. But it really could've been anybody.

He was surprised with that notice, his steps are usually very light and unnoticeable. But nonetheless that didn't make him feel any less frustration. The mask was off of his face and tied to his wrist, by that visibly miffed expression plastered on his face Puffy could already tell she's definitely the one who did something wrong. It was easy to tell because he didn't immediately start threatening and ranting about the person who ticked him off like he usually does, no, he was only thinking about how to approach this with what he wished to say and ask.

"Don't call me that..." He paused as his sentence earned a slighty taken aback reaction from Puffy. "Atleast not now.." he whispered under his breath like a shallow exhalation.

"Erm, what is it Dream?" She asked again as a bit of guilt hinted through her expression, it was subtle though it was certainly there. And that was enough for Dream to notice once again for reasons that have been pointed out before, though he lives a normal life he'll never have the ability to think alike to a normal person.

"You've lied to us, have you no shame Puffy?" He asked derisively as he tilted his head, his sentence settled in a deafening silence that made Puffy suddenly feel overwhelmingly nervous as she glanced at him with visible agitation, that contrite expression wasn't doing her well when she's lying, though, she couldn't hold it back much.
