Light.

You are the light in all of my foggy nights.

Five Months Ago
I didn't know you existed
I didn't know you were to enter my life
I didn't trust other people
I didn't trust the feeling of love
I was nothing but alone and scared
I was scared to lose myself to somebody else.

Four Months Ago
I met you.
I hated you.
You was annoying and I couldn't bare you.
Yet I had to work with you if I wanted to continue my current passion.

Three Months Ago
I met you.
I got to know you.
I learnt who you really was.
Your annoying voice turned into a melody of comfort.
Your stupid texts went from my least favourite to my most.
The only thing I longed to do was live a life with a kitty and you.

Two Months Ago
We met us.
Us.
I love us. I love you.
I would long for your texts or your calls,
I would stay up wait to talk to you.
I loved listening to your voice,
and seeing how you are.

One Month Ago
Light.
You became my light.
When things were dark, You were the one who taught me where to go.
When things were dark, You were the one where I would long to be by.
You taught me how to live in light.

Today.
Today,
Tomorrow,
Always.
That is how long I will love you for.
For you are my light in my foggiest of nights.

* This poem is about my boyfriend, Samuel :) We have been together for a few months now!!
