Over the course of the 4 and a half days since Mk and his friends have been in the scroll Azure and Nezha (mainly Azure) have been tried to form a larger connection other than acquittances for their own benefits. Nezha sees him as another demon while Azure Lion sees him as another potential brother, and depending on how Yellow Tusk and Peng react to him helping out he could make that happen. Azure had grown to trust Nezha over the days they've been plotting, with Nezha returning to the celestial realm every day to not stir up suspicion among the celestial court.
"Azure Lion." Nezha announced his presence as he walked up behind him, Azure turned around to face him "When you go into the scroll to get the mortals out of the scroll. Warn me before you do." He stated "Although, it would be easier if I stay in the celestial realm for now.." Nezha muttered under his breath has he put a hand on his chin. "Do you care about weather or not the celestial realm finds out about your treason?" Azure asked Nezha crossing his arms over his chest and cocking an eye brow up. He didn't like the sound of Nezha possibly still being loyal to the celestial host "Well, yes. But it is only temporally, once you are the jade emperor then I can make my loyalty to you known." Nezha said with a small smile as he tilted his head down but still looking up at him. Something seemed.... Sinister to how Nezha smiled, but Azure paid no mind to it. It was almost if Nezha has been supressing this hatred, his grudge against Wukong (for reasons Azure still doesn't know about) for quiet some time now.
Another day goes by and finally, Monkey King, Mk and his friends have finally broke the curse, now it was Azure's time to go in and get them out. "I'm going to release them now Lotus Prince, hide." Azure informed Nezha who was sitting on the stairs that let to Azure throne within the camel ridge. He sprang up and quickly jumped up to the mountains sumit. 'They wouldn't think to look up.' Is what Nezha thought as he did this. Soon enough, Nezha went inside the scroll and then came out with Mk, Mei, Pigsy and Sandy. Nezha could hear but he could see what was going on.
Despite his lack of hearing what is going on, he knew that Mk looked betrayed as well as the others... Apart from Mei, Mei looked like she was ready to attack. And attack she did. Well, tried to attack Azure anyway. Nezha did no deny that Mei was skilled but it surprised him that a decenant of Ao Lie - a timid dragon that lacked self-confidence. She was also a bit too quick when it comes to when to attack. The confidence Mei had would be something Nezha would have to look out for and be wary of.
Azure used the scroll to attack her, almost as if he was trying to trap her in it again. That didn't quite work out as she gained leverage on the stairs jumping up to attack him from above "Thank the heavens she's to focused on him" Nezha mumbled to himself thankful that Mei's arrogance caused her to not take a second glance above her as Peng and Yellow Tusk had escaped the scroll. Peng, stepping on Tang and pointing his spear at Mei and Yellow Tusk, who had just made Sandy fall with his hammer surprising and bringing worry to Pigsy. Azure dissuades his brothers from all out murdering Mk and the others, they hug each other something that doesn't that doesn't surprise the Third Prince of The Lotus. Afterall, they had been separated for a long long time.
Something happened, something that not Nezha or Azure could comprehend, Mk turning into a monkey demon surprised even Nezha, seeing him fight for his mentor, and having that piece of the scroll getting cut in half, it all seemed to happen so quickly for The Third Lotus Prince. Even so, with how difficult it may be it would still be possible to to get Wukong out, no matter how much Azure would think otherwise.
