The next morning I was walking through campus to class when I saw Jake pacing towards me.
“Hey Ja-” I said as he interrupted me.
“Did you and Dace hang out last night?” he yelled. There was anger in his voice and eyes.
“Yeah,” I said “why?” I looked around and saw people staring at us.
“Don’t see him again” he gritted through his teeth.
“Wh-why not?” my voice was shakey.
“Just don’t.” he said turning away from me. “Trust me on this one. It’s for your own good” he walked away from as I yelled for him to come back but he didn’t.
I met up with Aleah after my classes were done for the day to tell her what happened. She thinks Jake is jealous but I’m not so sure. There wasnt jealousy behind his eyes. It was anger and fear. I don’t understand what he has to be angry about or fear. What could I have done, or Dace of done to make him act like that.
