"I'm coming for you, Alexis!" Mr. Wood yelled, somewhere in the dark. I looked everywhere, but I couldn't see anything other than blackness. Then Fred and Tina walked out in front of my. I tried to move, but I was tied in a chair. Fred's eyes had a blank look and Tina was smirking at me."So, you're the Alexis my uncle was talking about. The so called powerful witch that's going to take him down," Tina said, walking around my chair. She stopped in front of me and knelt down. "Do you know why we are targeting you?" She asked.
"Hmm, let's see, because I'm the witch who is going to take your uncle Wood down. Which I guess means that I'm more powerful than you, so I would watch out. I'm already going to beat you to a plup for kissing Fred, don't give me another reason." I growled.
"Ooh, so you have taken a fancy to Fred. This could get interesting," she smirked. "Maybe, I'll just get him to ask me out, so I can watch it tear you apart. Then I will kill you, and him. Don't even get me started on that best friend of yours. What's her name, Isabel?" She turned around and I seen Izzy tied up too.
Tina grabbed Fred's hand and walked back into the darkness. Next who came out was Wood. He walked up to my chair and grabbed my hair.
"I'm coming to get you, Alexis Waters. Your not going to get away from me this time. My dearest niece is going to make sure that all the worst things happen to you, then I'll come and kidnap you and your little friend, Izzy. I'm sure Tina will take care of Fred. She is an evil one, took after me instead of her father." Wood said. I struggled to get out if my chair, but the rope was to tight. I started to smell something funny, and then Izzy went limp.
"Ahh, I see you smell it too. See, we're in a place that poisonous gas leaks out during the night. Any minute now, you will black out from the gas." Wood smirked. How was he not passing out. Then I realized he could have used magic to help him breath through the gas. I started to get light headed and my vision was starting to turn pitch black. "I'm coming for you Alexis!" echoed throughout the darkness.
I woke up in a cold sweat. I looked outside the window by my bed, and was greeted by a dark, starry sky. There was no way I could go back to sleep, so I took a bath and got dressed. It was still pretty early in the morning, so I headed down to the common room. When I got there, I noticed a certain red head sitting in the chair closest to the fire. I debated on whether I should go back to my bed or set in the other chair.
Finally I decided to plop down. He must have been asleep because when I did set down, he didn't say anything. I noticed my hair turned blue then red, and settled back on blue. I stared in the fire for what felt like a long time, until I realized, with a start, that Fred was looking at me. The funny things was, it looked like he was crying. I thought about my dream, but I couldn't blame Fred for that, I don't think he did anything wrong. It was Tina, but I still couldn't stop the tears the flooded my eyes when I looked at him. You probably think I'm a weak person because I cry, but sometimes you just have to. I tried to push the tears back.
"Fred? What's wrong?" I asked. Like everytime I cry, my voice sounded hoarse and I felt a lump in the back of my throat.
"I-I, nothing," he said. I looked back in the fire, and decided I might as well go ahead and say it. There was no way I would be able to stay mad at him, I cared to much.
"You can tell me anything, you know. You might have hurt my feelings, but I'm still going to be your friend." I stated. I started to wonder what time it was in the morning. People should be getting up by now, I think. Surely I didn't get up that early, but when I looked at the clock, I did a double take. It was 3:45 in the morning!
"Alexis? Why do you still call me your friend? Yesterday I didn't know what I was doing. I don't even remember anything after breakfast! Then I snapped back into reality, when you fell down. I had Tina Pole against the wall and you were on the ground, with tears streaming down your face. I didn't even know if you were hurt or what! I started to yell but you ran off. Tina grabbed my face and tried to kiss me again, but I snatched away. Then she said that I shouldn't waste my time with a pathetic girl like you. That she would be better for me. I ignored her and ran off to find you. I searched for hours, but I didn't know where you went. I finally headed to the common room and Albus seen me. He started to yell at me about how could I do that in front of you. I just took it and headed to this chair. I've been here all night, thinking. And to be honest, I've been crying too. How could you even call me your friend?!" Fred choked out. A few fresh tears started to shine on his cheeks. I stared into his blue eyes.
"Fred, do you want to know something about me?" I didn't even wait for his answer. "If I care about somebody, I can't just stop caring about them. Even though you really hurt my feelings, I still care about you. I'm stupid like that," I joked around. I was still on the edge of tears but I had to make him feel better. He gave me a small smile and turned to the fire. I stared at the flames and my eye lids started to get heavy. I fought it for a few minutes but finally gave in. Before I was completely out, I swear I felt something touch my forehead and hand. I smiled lightly and started to have a good dream. Or, at least, I thought.
Fred and I were playing outside. I was hiding behind the big tree by the lake. I heard him come near the tree, and held my breath. Then he mumbled, "Hmm, I guess she's not over here." It sounded like he walked off, so I peeked around the tree. All of a sudden, somebody grabbed me from behind and I screamed. I turned around and seen Fred laughing at me. I smiled up at him but then the scene changed. Instead of the bright, sunny day it turned into a dark, rainy night. Fred looked up at the sky with a confused look on his face. I was still in his arms, getting soaked in the storm. Then the rain turned ice cold. Wood ran out of the Forbidden Forrest and stopped 10 feet away from us.
"Fred Weasley, give me the girl! Give me the girl and you won't get hurt!" Wood yelled. I started to struggle in Fred's arms, but he wouldn't let me go.
"Fred, let me go! You can't get hurt, I won't let you! You can't die like Emma!" I yelled, the wind was growing stronger.
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. But I'm not letting you go. He will have to go through me if he wants to get to you." Fred whispered in my ear.
"Just give her to me Fred! I won't hurt you if you do!" Wood yelled again. Fred shook his head and looked down at me. Then I heard those awful words Wood used to kill Emma, but I heard them this time. "Avada Kedavra!" Wood yelled. A green light shot out of his wand and hit Fred.
"No!" I screamed. I started to cry when Fred hit the muddy ground. I looked up at Wood and he smirked.
"Oh, young one, there is no need to like someone when your fate is doomed," he said. He tried to grab my arm but I snatched away and ran to the lake. I turned around and seen that he was following me.
"Expelli-" I started but didn't get to finish. Somehow, Wood has said his spell before mine, and his was deadly. The green light hit me and my vision went instantly black.
