Dimond's POV

I have heard nothing about Serena my former ally. Ever since our last battle, when I realize she was helping a rivaling tribute and stabbed me in the leg, I stopped caring. But I know she isn't dead. Today is the feast, or the day we go to the Cornucopia where a material we are in need of are in packs. Seriously, on the speakers they make it sound a reunion with their jolly voices. It makes me laugh at the sound of their voices inviting us to a bloodbath. Might as well say my prayers now. Soon I arrive face to face with Serena. She has a wicked smile spread across her face as she sees me, and I notice she stares at my injury. Great, she's making an aim for it. Two others arrive, one covered in blood that's not hers. I give off a low growl as we lunge towards each other. One of them escapes, yet the rest of us battle to the packs. Suddenly, I feel pressure whip my back as a chain wraps around my waist and throws me. I let out a low yet high yell, as a cut forms on my waist. My eyes then meet Serena's with hatred. I load my bow, my arrow pointed towards Serena's chest. Her laughter fills the arena as she says, "You know you can never kill anyone! You would rather get killed than ki..." The arrow interlocks in her chest, as the words freeze on lips. She should've know I'm savage and unstoppable. Finally I grab my pack and hers and disappear in the woods.

Serena's POV

I dart towards the Cornucopia, where my destiny awaits. 4 kids, I believe, most likely 1 winner. I look down at myself; crazy hair, ripped clothes, and leaves along a trail on me. One girl, I don't recognize, looks so fragile but no! I saw her in the bloodbath, causing commotion. As rage fills me, I blaze forward, so fast I leaves a burning mark in the earth. I clutch my chain in my hands, I abandoned my real weapon in the forest's "main attraction" and found a chain glistening in the trees. With it I strike my nearest opponent, Dimond, the girl I ditch. She scream of pain fills the arena, like music to my ears. But in a blink of an eye an arrow get launch into my chest leaving a blood trail, and she takes both our packs. I moan as I attempt to make it back to the forest. I do eventually, but by then I lost a quart of my blood. I start hallucinating and feeling dizzy. Oh I hate this, just kill me already, death isn't awaiting! Soon I black out, but what I didn't know was that I was going to survive.
