11. Crisis

« Todd, is everything okay? asked Theo, as he entered their room. He has seen that since their arrival, Todd has been quite withdrawn. Hearing no response from his brother, he continued quietly. You can talk to me about it later if you're not comfortable now... don't worry too much, we're here to relax.

– Hmm, thank you Hyung. »

With the lights in their room turned off, Todd turned to his left to face the wall. He thought back to how the day had gone. He was surprised how well they all got along. Despite a few moments of awkward silence at the beginning of the stay, everyone found their place. He wasn't convinced if the tide would go well, especially with Seo Joon and Ji Wook's wives, having never seen them. He also knows how strained the relationship between Seo Joon and his wife is, having told him a few times via text. He is also not yet fully convinced that the week will pass without a hitch, recalling his first meeting with Han Na earlier in the day.

      A few hours earlier...

« Oh, Todd, I'm sorry, are you okay? Seo Joon asked hurriedly after hitting him while opening his car door.

– Joon be careful! Todd and Han Na's eyes met, and the younger one had a cold sweat when he saw her eyes on him.

– Guess I don't need to do introductions, but this is my wonderful wife Han Na, Seo Joon retorted sarcastically. Han Na, ignoring her husband's remarks, walked towards the cottage. Pay no attention to her. How is it going ? »

Theo quickly started talking to Seo Joon, it had only been a few days since they had seen each other, but Theo always had good stories to tell. They quietly walk towards the chalet, seeing Yohan and Gam Ri on the terrace. Being the last to arrive, they took some time to say hello to everyone, as some did not know each other. After all talking a bit, they decided to decide between the rooms now to be able to go and put away their things.

The allocation of rooms was done relatively quickly, to everyone's delight. The chalet contains five, all with their own bathroom. There are two bedrooms with two single beds. The first is located on the ground floor, with access to the terrace and occupied by Gam Ri and Yohan. The second is on the second floor, occupied by Todd and Theo. The rest of the bedrooms contain a double bed. The other two bedrooms on the second floor are taken by Hyung Sik, who finds himself alone and Seo Joon and his wife, who take the one closest to the stairs. The final bedroom, occupied by Ji Wook and Hye Kyo, is on the third floor.

They are still a bit early for dinner, so they sit on the terrace for a snack. Gam Ri had already started to prepare small things, quickly joined by Hye Kyo when she arrived at the beginning of the afternoon. Starting the first topic of conversation was not easy, but after a while everyone finally started to relax and the mood is less tense. Sitting next to Hyung Sik, Theo can't help but notice the looks his brother, sitting across from him, is giving Seo Joon and his wife. He felt uncomfortable when they spoke to the couple when they arrived. It surprised him, he knows that Todd and Seo Joon have become closer since the move. Théo knows that his brother often talks to his eldest by message and he also often checks in on his children, finding them simply adorable. Not the place or time to ask what's happening, he figures he'll ask her later.

       Two days later ...

The last two days have passed quietly. Everyone is having a good time and the atmosphere is pleasant. It hasn't gone unnoticed that Theo and Hyung Sik are getting much closer. Yohan takes malicious pleasure in pointing this out to his eldest, who denies all accusations. The air remains tense on Seo Joon and Ji Wook's side, as the presence of their wives makes them more stressed, but no one has mentioned it, not wanting to accentuate the problem.
