I want to share my experience that I had with a medical procedure of an endoscopy. I had two options to perform the procedure, the first option with anesthesia and the second option without anesthesia. I had originally requested anesthesia, but due to my cardiac history and my previous procedure, which was not very positive physically in the days following the procedure, I had a reaction. So I switched to no anesthesia. I was relaxed and prepared for whatever I was going to feel. At the beginning, most people were surprised to see me because I am very young and they see me as even younger due to my childlike appearance.
Hahhaa anyway, I entered the operating room and there was another patient next to me who was nervous because he was talking too much hahaha and I felt sorry for him and talked to him hahaha it was funny because he had the exam with anesthesia and after a while, a patient came out all anesthetized with his mouth open drooling to one side, that gentleman woke up and started saying so recklessly that he had already done the exam without anesthesia and that it was an ugly experience because he felt like he was suffocating. I was like "ah ok," the doctor looked at me in the eyes because he saw that I was impressed and I looked at him and laughed hahaha. Everyone was preparing me psychologically so that I wouldn't be scared (and I was all relaxed) hahaha they put a hose in my mouth and it feels uncomfortable, but not so horrible.
"Feels like you're suffocating when they move the hose around your throat. The trachea area feels small because it's numb, but you're still getting air. When they put the hose in your mouth, it sucks up your saliva and goes all the way down to your stomach. I felt it moving around everywhere, and I coughed and made a gagging sound because the hose was touching my uvula. My eyes watered, which is normal. Then I looked at the screen and saw everything the hose captured inside my stomach. It was fascinating to see my stomach cavity. The doctor thought I would be scared, so he asked me not to look at the screen, but I kept looking."
"It turned out that everyone told me I was very strong for doing it without anesthesia and not being as affected as other patients. I left with a big smile on my face, happy to have seen my stomach, and thanked everyone, wishing them a happy week. Hahaha, I liked the procedure and the way you treated me."

Be strong, as most of what you're going through is just part of your experiences. Bye Friends...
