Hello Everyone! I have been reading some amazing Meerasim stories on this forum. And now that Tere Bin is ending this week. I thought of writing my own version which I would have loved to have in the show. Moreover, if readers would like this, I would continue to what I would want a possible season 2 to be. The story is not very different from the show, but the whole Episode 45 onwards is not part of my story.

In this story, Meerab and Murtasim consummated their marriage in Episode 39 after Murtasim shared about his dreams to Meerab and confessed his love for her. I'll add that later in flashback maybe. Murtasim had left Meerab in front of her parent's home in Karachi not realizing that she had broken all ties with her parents. She had wowed on the night her parents had locked doors shut on her face to never set foot in this house again or being dependent on her foster parents who refused to accept her. The only time she did, she returned with HIM. As HIS WIFE. Meerab, heart broken and vulnerable had walked away in the darkness that engulfed Karachi.

Now two years later, she had returned, with his child in her arms.

Murtasim walked towards his bedroom. He entered the lounge in front of his bedroom, closing the door behind. There weren't any tears, but his eyes were red with pain. He was a broken man, vulnerable and shattered. His own words played in his mind from the last time he had seen her.

Flashback!

"Kaha tha tumhe jis din mere kandhe yeh bojh na utha sake uss din sabse pehle tum muh ke bal giro gi. Aaj hara diya tumne mujhe." She stared at him tears flowing down her pink cheeks and the words escaped her lips almost a whisper "Murtasim... Ek baar meri baat toh sunlo? "

He walked off not even sparing her a look and drove off leaving her alone at the same spot where he had once told her to come with him to his home.

End of Flashback!

Murtasim's hands eased out the crease in his pearl white sherwani as he built strength in himself to enter his bedroom. It was late at night, after the eventful day on which he was to be married to Haya. It was nothing else but Allah's rahem on him that Meerab had returned, breathing life back into his lifeless body. The door creaked as he entered the bedroom, lit with candle lights the room was filled with the smell of roses and jasmine. As he moved further in, he saw the most beautiful and serene view in front of his eyes. His Meerab lay on their bed with their little angel, Meesam on the center of their bed, both sleeping peacefully surrounded with the flower décor on their four-post bed. The dim light of the candles were casting the most beautiful shadows and his heart ached to pull them in his arms. When he had got married, he couldn't even possibly dream of this becoming a reality one day. But now that it was a reality, he was no longer the same Murtasim Khan. He had lived in this guilt for two long years that he had snatched away all his dreams and happiness himself. He had pushed away the only woman he had ever loved, his wife, his Chahat!!

When his Baba Sahab, on the death bed, had put his pagdi on Murtasim's head, the pain had been unbearable. Murtasim was not only sacrificing his dreams but was also losing his Baba, his guide and his best friend. He had always been closer to his father and not so much to Maa Begum. His father knew of his dreams, and had a vision for his son's future. He had always encouraged Murtasim to gain the best of education, see and explore the world and develop his sensibilities and people skills. He knew it then that it possibly hurt his baba more to have no choice but to pass his responsibilities to Murtasim earlier than he had imagined. Murtasim could out the blame on a lot of people and destiny when that had happened but this time... this time he had no one else but himself to blame.

He slowly moved towards the bed taking in the breath-taking imagery in front of his eyes trying to save it somewhere deep in his heart forever. He reached his side of the bed and bend down slowly to place a kiss on his daughter's forehead. She was the most precious little thing that the almighty had blessed him with. She was so soft that Murtasim was almost scared that his moustache or beard would hurt his princess. He thus pecked her forehead ever so lightly and moved away. He turned his pillow to place it next to Meesam to protect her from rolling on his side. Though his side of the bed was completely empty, he decided to move towards the other side of the bed towards his wife. Murtasim walked around the bed with his eyes fixed on Meerab tracing her form. Meerab had her back facing him, as she lay turned towards their daughter, her hand lightly placed on Meesam's stomach. Murtasim settled himself next to Meerab in the little space that was there on the edge. No matter how uncomfortable it might have been, it didn't matter. He had once slept sitting next to her all night so this was way better if he got to feel his Meerab's presence that he had been denied off for the last two years.

Meerab felt the bed dip as her husband placed his weight right next to her. But she chose to not open her eyes worried that he might move away. She expected him to wrap his arms around her and take her in his embrace but when that didn't happen for a few moments, Meerab slowly opened her eyes, lifting her head slightly off the pillow to look at their reflection in the dressing table mirror. Meerab saw murtasim looking at her unaware of her eyes on him in the mirror. He looked so different, so distraught and in pain. She couldn't bare to see him like this. Meerab swiftly looked at Meesam to make sure she was comfortable and protected. And once she did, Meerab turned around to face her daughter's father who needed her attention a lot more in this moment than Meesam.

Their eyes met with such passion and longing that couldn't be put in words. Their lips just mere inches away from each other. Meerab's arms found their way to his back as she pulled him more towards herself. His eyes had started to well up, tears threatening to fall down his big beautiful eyes which held a mix of pain and immense love for her. Her eyes, locked with his, her left hand moved down his back to reach his hand which was still placed on his torso. She pulled his hand to wrap it around her waist and pushed her self further up against him. Her hand moved back to cup his face as she caressed him lovingly. Her leg slipped between his and he finally pulled her more into himself. Their breaths mingled with each other as they both waited for the other to break the silence. Her Khan was the most confident lion she had ever known, radiant, decisive, sure of himself and a man of principles. But what she saw in front of her that night was someone so different. He always took lead in their relationship, but tonight he just wasn't initiating. Sensing how much she needed to step up for her man, she bent her head over his cheeks and kissed his tears away. Her lips trailed across his face as she felt his grip tightening on her. She pulled away for a mere second to look back in his eyes, her own reflecting his love for her.

She whispered against lips, her glistering eyes staring down at his beautiful face, " Even my Khuda can't part you away from me. Let alone you, yourself. You are MINE, Khan Murtasim Khan!"

And with this her lips closed the gap between them with such intensity that she couldn't tell if it was her own need for him pent up in her for the last two years, or the desperation to have him be the man he once was. They both broke the kiss out of breath after what felt like eternity and yet the longing very much there. Murtasim continued to inhale deeply as his lips didn't leave her skin and Meerab felt him moving further down her neck, collar bones and then towards her heaving bosom. Meerab's hand moved into his soft hair massaging his head, running her long fingers continuously. She felt him rest his head on her chest, pressing down more into her cleavage. She continued caressing his hair, shoulders and back until she felt he was deep in sleep, possibly after a very long time. His arms were tightly wrapped around her torso making it impossible for to move. Meerab turned to look over her shoulder to make sure their daughter was still sleeping peacefully. What she saw warmed her heart even more. Murtasim's left arm was spread straight to reach Meesam under Meerab's body. His fingers' lightly caressing their daughter's hair just like Meerab caressed her husband's. She smiled to turn around and pull his face closer into her chest.

She looked around to see the room decorated just like it was on their wedding night. This was a new beginning! A second chance Allah had given them to make things right.

She remembered how on their wedding night she had messed up things for them. She was broken, alone and didn't trust anyone, but Murtasim had vowed to win her love forever. Now it was her turn to remove all doubts, insecurities and vulnerabilities that clouded Khan Murtasim Khan's mind. She would love him so much that he would never second guess himself or their love for each other.

She would turn him back to the true king that he is..... Khaani ka KHAN!!
