Murtasim's desire surged as he pulled her closer, his lips meeting hers in a fiery kiss that sealed their passionate pact. As they melted into each other's embrace, Meerab and Murtasim knew that their love had weathered the trials of the past, and now, it was ready to ignite with a fiery passion that would burn brighter than ever before. The countdown to their reunion had begun, and it promised to be a celebration of love and desire that would rekindle the profound connection they shared as husband and wife.

As Meerab and Murtasim shared their passionate moment, their daughter, Meesam, who had been contently playing in her father's arms, decided that she wanted all of her father's attention for herself. "Ma...Mama!!" With an adorable determination, she tugged on Murtasim's shirt and began pulling him away from Meerab.

Murtasim chuckled heartily at his daughter's antics, his eyes filled with amusement and affection. "Looks like someone's jealous," he remarked, allowing himself to be led away by their little bundle of joy.

Meerab joined in the laughter, her heart warming at the sight of the bond between father and daughter. "Meesam, you're a little possessive, aren't you?" she teased.

Murtasim leaned down to plant a series of gentle kisses on Meesam's cheeks. "That's my girl," he said lovingly, his eyes shining with adoration.

As they continued to share this sweet moment as a family, Murtasim couldn't help but express a hint of disappointment. "You know, Meerab," he began, "I wish she would start calling me 'Baba' soon. She still calls me Mama."

Meerab caressed Meesam's cheek and looked at Murtasim with a reassuring smile. "Murtasim, she's still a little baby. She calls everyone "Mama". She'll learn with time. And when she does, it will be the sweetest sound in the world."

"That's because she only had you around all along. It feels like I am being punished for not being their when she was born." Murtasim almost whispered looking at their daughter.

"She loves you, that's all-what matters and I don't want you to be thinking all such nonsense again." Murtasim nodded, his heart filled with patience and love for both his daughter and his wife. As they embraced the joy of this simple family moment, they knew that time would bring even more blessings, including the sweet sound of their daughter's first words.

The Khan Haveli was alive with an air of excitement and anticipation as preparations for the mehndi ceremony of Murtasim and Meerab were in full swing. Maa Begum, the matriarch of the family, was in her element, directing the household staff with grace and authority, ensuring that every detail was perfect for the upcoming celebration.

The courtyard of the haveli was adorned with vibrant marigold and jasmine flowers, their sweet fragrance filling the air. Colorful fabric canopies billowed gently in the breeze, providing shade for the guests. The courtyard echoed with laughter and chatter as family and friends gathered, their faces lit up with smiles.

Maa Begum herself was overseeing the intricate designs of the mehndi artists. Their nimble fingers created beautiful patterns on the hands and feet of the women, transforming them into works of art. The rich, red henna contrasted beautifully against the fair skin of the women guests. Inside the haveli, the aroma of delectable dishes wafted from the kitchen, as the culinary team worked tirelessly to prepare a feast fit for royalty. The sound of sizzling spices and the clinking of pots and pans filled the air, tantalizing everyone's senses.

In one corner, a group of women, young and old, sang traditional mehndi songs, their voices blending in perfect harmony. The melodious tunes added to the festive atmosphere, and some couldn't resist breaking into spontaneous dance. Children ran about, their faces smeared with mehndi designs of their own, laughing and playing games. They were a testament to the joyous occasion, embodying the hope and promise of the future. As the sun began to set, the haveli was bathed in a warm, golden glow. The courtyard transformed into a magical wonderland as hundreds of oil lamps were lit, casting a soft, romantic light. The mehndi ceremony was about to begin, marking the official start of Murtasim and Meerab's journey into matrimony.
