It's been 17 years since the Vosses and Gromaks went to their last battle with each other, and since Thraak liked living, he didn't dare go outside to see the outcome of the war. He was to stay inside with his father, where Lokton, BX-44, and a ragtag group of refurbished CIS droids could "protect" him.
So for 17 years, Thraak had no idea whose race made it out of the centuries-long war. He figured the Vosses, because it was basically cavemen fighting civilized soldiers. As long as the Vosses could use the force, Gromaks only had so long before they'd have to give in.
"How many times do I have to tell you, father? I'm 23, I can go outside! Lokton's a bounty hunter, I'll bring him with me!", Thraak shouted at his father. "Hmmm...you may have a point. You have been coddled your entire life, and I do trust Lokton...", Quanos muttered reluctantly. "If I let you leave, will you come back alive? I cannot lose my son, much more the gifted mechanic and technician you are. Without you, we could be overrun by Vosses or Gormaks, or even worse! Rebels or The Empire!". "You're getting too carried away, father. Voss hasn't been disturbed in years, the likelihood they'd start now is very low. I'll be fine." Thraak said with a bit of confidence. "I'll head out tomorrow, we'll take Lokton's ARC fighter and we will come home safely." Thraak told Quanos. "I still have a bad feeling about this...", Quanos said. "Well, good. get some rest then, if you'll be heading out." Quanos shouted as Thraak marched upstairs into his room. "Oh, Lokton. Bring the boy back safely, and don't let him pick fights with strangers, and NO TATOOINE!" Lokton nodded in obedience. "Thraak will return to Voss safely.", Lokton said in an emotionless voice. "That's what I like to hear.", Quanos said, reassured.
Lokton was becoming a fiercely known bounty hunter in the galaxy, with a superb fetch rate and a great kill rate to boot. Riding his refurbished, jet black ARC starfighter, he would take jobs to support the Vivkiv family factory, which made droids in secret. Formerly being a medical droid you would find on ships and Polis Massa, he was given new armor, a sinister cloak reminiscent of the one General Grevious would wear, a blaster tri-rifle (an ordinary blaster rifle, but modernized to have three rotating barrels), a blaster pistol, and a handful of thermal detonators. Lokton was given new programming from attending to the sick and injured to bounty hunter, much like fellow droid bounty hunter 4-LOM. And unknowingly, he was starting to grow attention.
Thraak had lived on Voss his entire life, as his father Quanos fled to Voss to escape the Clone Wars that was reaching Tatooine, his homeplanet. Thraak was taught to be a technican and mechanic by his father, and would practice by finding abandoned CIS droids, repairing, and reprogramming them to be faithful guardians of the factory. But this factory wasn't making anything. Yet.
Quanos had always stayed in contact with his friends back at Tatooine, and had even considered moving back despite the Imperial occupation. But this fell through when he started plans for something that could draw him...attention by the Imperials, so him and Thraak remain on Voss. But the question is, would Thraak want to after he's gone outside, or will Quanos' worst fear be realized, Thraak getting involved in Rebel activity?(Seen above: the medical droid frames Lokton and BX-44 were built on.)
