As Thraak and Lokton entered the cockpit of Lokton's ARC Starfighter, Thraak was starting to feel something he had not felt in years. Fear. He was afraid of the outside Galaxy, all he had ever known was Voss, and he hated it. But yet, he was apprehensive about leaving. What if Lokton got in a dogfight in space and was shot down? What if they get wrong navigations, and end up on with certain doom on a planet like Felucia or Utapau? What if Lokton is wanted by the Rebels, or the Empire, or other bounty hunters? These thoughts raced through his head, and he had a sudden wave of regret and uneasiness rush over him. But as he was about to tell Lokton he wasn't sure anymore, Lokton closed the cockpit, and started the engines. Thraak knew there was no turning back now, so he strapped in and put on his starfighter helmet for good measure. As the blast doors from the factory's hangar opened, Thraak felt sick to his stomach. "Lokton! I'm not sure about this anymore!" He shouted to Lokton, only a foot in front of him. "You will be safe. I have been programmed as one of the best pilots in the outer rim." Lokton said nonchalantly back to Thraak. As the ARC took off, Thraak had confidence in Lokton's word. The ship was flying smoothly, controlled, and not an enemy fighter in sight.
As Thraak and Lokton came out of the atmosphere and into space, Thraak couldn't help but gasp at the beauty of space. Stars and emptiness as far as the eye could see, other planets in the distance, the occasional ship whizzing by. It was fantastic.
"Unidentified starfighter incoming." Lokton reported to Thraak. "I will attempt to make contact." Lokton then began to fiddle with his communicator until a response was heard. "This is Dengar, what do you want?" Lokton immediately recognized the voice.
Dengar is a fierce bounty hunter with a reputation for being an excellent pilot and deadly in gunfights. Injured in a race with Han Solo, he wears a bandage around his face, and a deep passion of hate.
"This is Lokton. I hold no hostilities. Continue with your quest." Lokton replied to Dengar. "Here's a tip, Lokton. Don't go to Tatooine. The Empire is starting an occupation of the planet, but I doubt it will get past Mos Eisley and Jabba. Still, keep your nose clean if you're going, the Sandtroopers don't have much respect for us. Dengar out." Lokton switched off the communicator. "Does master Thraak still wish to visit Tatooine?" He asked. "Visit Tatooine? I thought we were just going on a joy ride, I didn't think we'd be going anywhere." Thraak replied. "I have business there. I will protect master Thraak as I promised master Quanos. You will be safe with me." Lokton reassured Thraak. "The Empire respects us, as long as we come YOU come as a tourist. I have a bounty I wish to pick up. We will meet Greedo at the Mos Eisley Cantina." As they flew off to Tatooine, Thraak had a bad feeling something was about to go down.
