The heart is a fool

When you talk to someone, does your heart and mind feel like it's opening the curtains to let the sunlight in?

Does your mind silently scream 'I love you' in the silence of the conversation?

Do you see someone flaws so clear and you only find them endearing?

Do you get overwhelmed by it all you just need to give it to God and rant to your friend?

Would you drop everything if they called?

It's not the time.
It isn't time.
Not now.
Maybe someday, but not now.

And you know.

But the heart is a fool,
who can understand it?
