A daze settled upon Chojuro's eyes as the wind continued to flow by him. His ears rang and his mind was going blank as a feeling of comfort flooded through his body.
Did...did he just call me one of his sons?
However that feeling of comfort faded quickly to self loathing and rage.
"What did you just say?!" Chojuro screamed up at the man holding him with his fingers. Newgate simply continued to look at him as Chojuro violently jerked around trying to escape Newgate's grip.
"I will never abandon a child of mine, that includes you." That only agitated Chojuro further.
"I'm not one of your sons! I'll never be one of your sons!" Chojuro roared which was heard several blocks away. Newgate didn't stop running though so as to not let himself and his not yet son get caught. He did however take a different direction and started moving away from the warehouse.
"And what makes you say that?" Newgate's voice comes out gruff and aggressive to Chojuro's agitated mind even if that wasn't his intention.
"I won't allow myself to be controlled like the others that follow you!" Chojuro's struggles intensifies as his mind tries its best to make logic of Newgate's kindness.
There is no way he's not deceiving the others. He's lying to them all! Why else would he want me?
Chojuro continues down this path of reasoning with Newgate noticing the chimera's body start to change and slowly grow.
"Why would I want or need to control you are my other children? It serves me no benef-", he doesn't get to finish as a massive tail slams his hand causing him to drop Chojuro and the other crates. Chojuro lands on the floor and jumps back with his now massive tail swinging behind him.
"If that's the case...", Newgate observed how the once 6'10 wolf man began to grow in size rapidly.
First, his chest and legs bulged, tearing through his dress shirt and trench coat but not his jeans. The bird-like legs also bulged before enlarging, causing an imprint on the ground. Blue feathers seemed to painfully sprout from the forearms along with horns starting to appear on Chojuro's head. His white fur also spread more across his chest.
"THEN WHY WOULD YOU ACCEPT A MONSTER LIKE ME!" Chojuro finished his sentence with a primal roar that generated a gust of wind.
Windows shattered, car alarms started blaring, and Newgate picked up the screams of civilians. Newgate squinted at the transformed Chojuro, who now stood at a height of 13'8, and stared into his hollow blank yellow eyes. The eyes of an uncontrollable beast to many, but to Newgate it was the eyes of a lost child in need of his help.
However, helping Chojuro is a lot harder especially when he starts to charge a beam of ominous light. Before the beam does fire, Newgate uses his free hand to slam the air in front of him. Cracks quickly erupt in front of him that manage to cover his entire frame. Chojuro then releases his laser that when hitting the cracks refracts around Newgate.
Newgate grunts as he gets slightly pushed back. This struggle lasts for several long seconds before the beam dies down. As soon as the sound of the cracks and laser beam leaves Newgate's ears, they are greeted with the crackling sound of fire, the crumble of buildings, and blood wrenching screams of people.
Izuku would have cared for those people, but Newgate only focused on the beast in front of him.
"Chojuro you don't have to do this! I don't get what you're trying to prove!" Yelling out over the now hell-like landscape, Chojuro only responds with a reverberating roar before charging the giant man. Quickly throwing the Kei truck out of his other hand, Newgate bends his knees to be able to stop the charge.
