"Xeno, you're making the exact same face Senku has when he gets excited..." (Name) sweatdropped. "It suits you, but... I'm kind of... scared... Even Senku is doing it now..."

"Let them be, (Name)," Kohaku placed her hand on the girl's shoulder. "It's been seven years. I'm sure they've been itching to do some science about now... Meanwhile, we should go around looking for Xeno's allies to get more hands-on with the project."

"From here, we have to split into three teams!" (Name) announced once she had finalised the plans. "One team is to remain here to continue amassing minerals and refining the rocket engine. The next team will head to Corn City to revive everyone else and get corn production back on track. And lastly, the final team will establish other cities while picking up resources for the spaceship on their way back to Japan."

"Haha! Well said, (Name)! Now let's head off!" He was going to swing an arm around her, faltering before it made contact. "Oops, apologies, I need to get over old habits..."

"Ahh, don't worry about that Ryuusui, just so long as you know she's mine," Senku smirked.

Kohaku scuttled over, shoving the two men aside. "You confessed?! When?! Why didn't you tell me?!"

(Name) felt her inside scrambling from how frantically she was shaking her. All words she let out were all but warbled sounds, unintelligible and abstract noises. And Kohaku would once again freak out when she heard she had promised to be Luna's girlfriend once the whole affair was over.

"(Name)," Luna approached the girl once she escaped the lioness' clutches. "As I thought... being my girlfriend, is it impossible...?"

(Name) could already see the tears that pricked the doctor's eyes as she shuffled awkwardly on the spot. "...It's not impossible, but... I... already have someone else... Sorry..."

"I see..."

"...If you're worried you won't be able to find that special someone, don't worry!" The angel hastily tried to liven up the mood. "You're a perfectly admirable person! You saved Senku and me from death, and you didn't betray us when it was the crucial moment... There's bound to be someone who would be with you, without a doubt!"

Luna sniffled, a small smile cracking on her face. "Right...! I am capable girl, Luna! I won't let something like this get me down! Just you watch! Next time you see me, I'll have a wonderful partner by my side! Maybe we'll even do a double date or two!"

(Name) had a bright smile as she waved farewell to the hyped-up girl. "Is my girlfriend cheating on me already?" Senku coyly said as he wrapped an arm around her waist.

Her cheeks flushed at her new title. Girlfriend. She needed some time to get used to it. It was amazing how Senku could say it without stuttering or feeling embarrassed. But she was wrong. As she turned to face her boyfriend, a faint blush dusted his cheeks and the smallest feeling of his erratic heartbeat gave away his expression of joy and slightly embarrassed self. 'My boyfriend is so adorable...!' (Name) cooed as she leaned upwards, placing a quick kiss on his cheek.

"Cheat? When you're the only one I need?" She turned to speed off before he noticed her flaming face.

A hand tugged her back, pulling her straight into Senku's chest. He gazed down at her, lovingly taking in the flushed face of his girlfriend. "Don't think for a millisecond that I'll let you go with that," his finger tapped his lips as he waited expectantly. "Exhilarate me."
