Kaveh got to his class just on time, he sat on his desk which was in the back for his class. He sat alone but he didn't mind it because he had more space for his art supplies and he wasn't very alone either because his two best friends sat on the desk next to his.
"Oh wow, you're actually on time today!" Cyno pointed out and gave Kaveh a high-five.
Kaveh chuckled and took out his books.
"Hey cyno" he called his friend who was sketching something in tighnaris notebook
"Yeah?" He immediately looked up and stared at Kaveh with a curious expression
"You said you knew the new student, right?"
"Well... we used to be close a couple of years ago but we haven't talked in a while.... yeah I know him!" Cyno raised an eyebrow "Why do you ask?"
His question caught Kaveh off guard he felt his cheeks slightly heat up and he looked down
"No reason... I just bumped into him on my way here"
Cyno nodded
Kaveh looked away and started listening to the teacher but he saw Cyno whispering to Tighnari and peaking over to him time to time. Kaveh knew that they were talking about him but he decided to ignore it and continued listening to the teacher while sketching in his book.

After the lesson ended kaveh started putting his books back in his bag and that's when he felt someone approaching him. He looked up and saw that it was Dehya. He didn't know her well but she was Cynos friend so he didn't mind.
"Kaveh, I overheard your conversation with Wanderer earlier" Dehya said as she put her hand on his shoulder.
He looked up at Dehya with a worried expression. The fact that he was getting bullied was already embarrassing and now someone heard it?!?!? Kaveh didn't know how to respond so he just nodded
"If you ever need help, you can tell me!" Dehya smiled at him.
Kaveh couldn't help but smile back. She seemed really nice.
"Thank you so much!" He thanked her and looked at her with a smile.
He saw Dehya flinch as someone hugged her from the back. It was Candace, Dehyas girlfriend.
"Did you enjoy sitting next to the new guy?" She asked Dehya
"OH MY GOD! He is so boringg! I tried to talk to him and he told me to shut my mouth and listen to the teacher! HE WASN'T LISTENING HIMSELF! He was just reading a book that looked like it was from like ten decades ago!" Candace started giggling as Dehya complained about Alhaitham "and when I asked him why he was reading instead of listening to the teacher he said "because whatever the teacher has to say is written in books too". Then why does he even come to school?!?!? I don't understand!!" Dehya was basically yelling at this point but Kaveh found it very funny and started laughing with Candace.
"So Alhaitham's in your class?" He asked when Dehya finally finished talking.
"You know him?" Dehya said in a surprised voice and Candace started laughing again
"I bumped into him this morning!" Kaveh answered "he seemed kinda nice actually..."
Dehyas eyes grew wide as he looked at Kaveh "NICE?!?!"
Kaveh was surprised with her reaction. "Yeah...."
Candace smiled and leaned closer to Kaveh "maybe he acts differently around you?" She suggested
"But why would he?" Kaveh was confused
"I don't know...." Candace said but her smirk said otherwise.
Kaveh was even more confused now.
Kaveh started thinking of what Candace meant but he had no idea... he was quickly snapped out of his thoughts when Cyno came up to them and asked what they were talking about.
"We were talking about the new guy!" Candace said
"Pfft, who isn't?" Dehya replied.
"Is he that popular?" Kaveh asked in surprise.
"Yeah, he's been the talk of the entire school ever since he arrived!" Cyno informed him
"Oh I didn't know" kaveh answered truthfully
"Friendless behavior" Tighnari said and chuckled.
Kaveh didn't even realise that he was there so he jumped in surprise before looking at tighnari.
"Having a lot of friends is a waste of time!" Kaveh defended himself.
Dehya turned to Cyno and pulled his hair to get his attention "Hey Cyno, did you know that Alhaitham was "nice" to Kaveh this morning?"
Cyno gave Dehya an offensive side eye before turning in her direction and then turning back to Kaveh "what."
Kaveh didn't understand why everyone was so confused so he just stared at them
"How the f-" Cyno cut himself off and stared at Kaveh
Kaveh was going to say something but the bell rang so they hat to go to their classes.
