So this is my life now,I am not going to deny the new title I have but I am not ready to accept it either, how can my entire life change within a short span of 24 hours?
HOW?!!
Well at least I didn't end up like those kids in the movies how they end up losing everything once their parents are gone,
I still have a house and someone that loves me,speaking of
Oh no Nana, she must be worried sick looking for me,plus my hair is still damp,my eyes are still puffy, I really shouldn't have stayed in class to cry my heart out
I didn't want my first convo with Dean freaking Matthew to be like this, like me looking al vulnerable...
But at least I didn't show it
But still that was embarrassing,I was betting mortified by it
It still isn't as painful as the slap,
When reality slaps you in the face
Kaboom... On Your Freaking Face and you realize you have a new title in life
The title of being AN ORPHAN
That's so weird Me?, An Orphan?
Well I might as well just go with the flow of things
Since I don't have much of a choice
But, one thing I won't accept is Uncle Gary as my new Guardian, that man doesn't even smile to me, he has never for once even showed a hint of playfulness when he speaks to me, he is always so rude to me, telling me things like me being ungrateful
I can swear he hates me, like where the hell did Dad get a brother like this!
That man hates every bone in me, he hates the blood running in my veins
He intimidates me, and he knows it
I absolutely won't accept it,
What if he starts mistreating me?
I will become Cinderella, but in my story an Uncle not a Stepmother
Oh God, I can't even think straight right now
Just then I felt an arm pull me with full force
"Hey!! What's wrong with you man?!"
I shouted ready to use my martial art skill on who ever it was
Just then I realized it was Mason, Maud's Boyfriend and Maud is my best friend
"Whoah!, how about a thank you,instead cause I just saved your life!"
"What do you..."
Just then I realized I was on the highway
The Freaking Highway!!!!
How the hell did I get there
Oh no how long have I been walking?!
I just realized how dark it's getting
How is this even possible?
Ahhhh!
I feel so stupid
How was I so lost in thoughts to such an extent?
If Nana gets a word of this she will be so worried
Gosh everyone must have thought I was losing it
"Hello! Are you okay"
"I'm...I'm...I..."
"Let's get you back you home,
I already texted Maud when I saw you she will meet us there"
I probably didn't really register the rest of his sentence as the only thing replaying in my head is the word he said HOME
Right now I don't have a home
Not without my Mom and Dad
All I have is a freaking house too spacious I can fit the whole of Antarctica in it
Once again reality gave me another tight slap
I DON'T HAVE A HOME!!
"Are you listening?" He asked snapping his fingers at me as I gave him a confused look
"I am asking you JK, speak, are you okay"
Then I knew I wasn't okay
"Fine then let's just get you home be..."
I didn't let him finish as I suddenly snapped
"What Home?!!"
I yelled
"I don't have a home!!"
"My mom and Dad..."
I didn't realize I had started crying again
I was in immense pain,my breathing became soft and shallow
"They are dead..." I said in a whisper since that day I have never said it out loud until now
"They are gone!, They left me!!"
"Hey...shhhh it's okay"
"No it's not okay! I ..."
"Okay listen to me, you will be just fine, just get yourself together" he said almost shaking me
"Look we are in public in a Highway" he said stressing the word Highway
"And it does bad to your image for anyone to see you crying like this and I am sure you wouldn't want that so just come let's get you in the car"
He said and helped me up as I he supported me and we walked to something that looking that look like a car, my vision is a bit blurry
But it is a car he got me in put on my seatbelt, then he turned and got in turned on the car, he started driving,
And all that could be heard in the car were my sobs.
"Mason...ummh... don't take me home"
"Then where sh..."
"Take me to Maud's place"
Okay then he brought out his phone and texted someone
I am pretty sure it's Maud his probably telling her there's been a change of plans
A few minutes later we arrived in front of Maud's house,I am sorry I mean mansion
We waited for a bit for the gate to be opened and immediately we parked the car the door of my side opened and as someone embraced me in a warm hug,
It was Maud, my best friend
"Hey lovely"
She said as she pulled away, a tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear
"JK, why do you always do this?,I thought I told you to stop doing this"
She's talking about my hair, I might sound like a freak right now but I wet my hair when I am sad or angry
"Anyways, I'll take care of it for you, let's get you in"
She said as she helped me get down form the car
Mason was already standing beside her
"Okay Mace, you staying"
She asked and he replied
"No I was headed headed home for movie night when I saw her"
"Oh okay, see ya"
She said as he pecked her
They could have done more than that if not because I was there
He got in the car and drove off, she gave him an airkiss before he left
Then we Maud took me in the house, we went upstairs to get room
Where I took a bath and cried my heart out to my bestie,
My haven, My sanctuary
I love her to bits
