Homecoming. It was finally here. A bunch of us rented a limo and yes Jace was one of us. Lynita and I spent the day pampering ourselves and getting ready for tonight. I put on my dress that I had had bought months ago. It was a red, short, tight fitting, one shoulder dress with roses going up the strap. I walked into the bathroom where Lynita was putting on make up and whistled. She had on a dark blue strapless dress that had cute ruffles at the bottoms and silver sequences.
"Looks like the push up bra is working." She said laughing at me.
"Look who's talking!" We were laughing and putting on our shoes when there was a knock on the door. I stood up an stumbled. I looked down at my black stiletto heals. Even after a month of practicing how to walk in them I was still no expert. I looked in the mirror quickly before opening the door. I had curled my hair and my make up was flawless. When I opened the door it was Tony and Jace. I went and gave them both a hug. Even with my four inch heals I still wasn't as tall as Jace.
"Lynita's in my room." I told Tony. His tie matched the color of Lynita's dress. He went to my room and left Jace and I alone.
"I didn't mean for my tie to match your dress." Jace said awkwardly. I hadn't noticed until now.
"You look nice." I said to him. He was wearing all black except his tie. His hair lined his face perfectly with his beautiful curls.
"Thanks. You too. Your dress is really pretty." He said. I smiled at him sweetly. I went to walk to the couch and I stumbled again but this time Jace caught me by my waist. I felt my heart pound against my chest and he released his warms hands from around me. Whoa. My head was spinning and I quickly sat. Tony and Lynita joined us as we waited for the limo.
"Ah you look so pretty!" Tori gushed when she saw me. "I think Jace thinks the same thing." She whispered as we caught him looking at us. I blushed with the thought. After pictures, which I somehow got put next to Jace in, we headed towards the hotel.
The night was almost over. All the girls had kicked off their shoes and were now going barefoot. I was exhusted from dancing all night and decided to sit down. Jace came to keep me company. The last song for the night came on. Of course it was a slow song. That's when I saw Gianna start walkin towards Jace and I. Jace saw this too and grabbed my hand. He pulled me to the dance floor and we started dancing.
"Andora?" I heard him say. I had my head against his chest.
"Yes Jace?" I murmured.
"I still love you. I never stopped. I need you in my life babe." I pulled away and looked in to his eyes.
"I told you I was going to marry you. I can't keep that promise unless I have you as my girlfriend."
"Jace... I don't know what to say."
"You could say you'll be my girl." I smiled at him.
"Of course I'll be your girl." He leaned down and kissed me. I saw a camera flash and smiled. I looked and saw both Tori and the yearbook editor with cameras. Then I looked past them and saw Gianna standing there in shock. Victory. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him again. My world seemed like it was going right again. Like all the stars had gone back into alignment after being pushed around.
Everything had gone back to normal. It was two weeks after homecoming and we were sitting at lunch.
"You guys are a shoo in for class couple." Marie said to us as Jace and I were feeding each other in a way that was so cute it was disgusting.
"Yeah except they don't do that for juniors." Jace said as he put a chip in my mouth. He bent down and kissed me.
"Eww PDA!" Tori said. Carson grabbed her face and kissed her. "Ok, so maybe PDA isn't that bad." Once she pulled away. He kissed her again.
