Family Reunion

I walked up to Darien 's door and knocked. He opened it 20 seconds later smiling.
"Hey, babe," he says pulling me inside.

"Hey, " I say and kiss his cheek and sit on the couch
"Guess whattt " he sings
"What?" I say looking at him
"My mom wants you to come to our family reunion," he says smiling bigger
I choke on my spit
"WHAT EHH THEY MAY NOT LIKE M-" He cuts off my freak out
"They'll love you, " he says laughing hugging me.
"You sure?" I questioned not sure
He nods
I sigh " when is it "
I ask.
"Friday" he replies
"IN TWO DAYS"
I shout
"I ONLY GOT TWO DAYS TO PREPARE MYSELF," I say freaking out he sits me back down.
"Baby chill out they'll love you I promise," he says and pecks my lips.

"Well if you say so, so how long is this family reunion"

"Usually 2 weeks," he says simply

"well ok- " I say as my phone starts to ring

"Hello," I say
"Hey babe I'm sorry," Matty says into the phone
"Shit I knew I should've checked who was calling"
I say irritated.
"Lamari can we talk please" he pleads
"Aren't we talking now?" I reply rudely
"I still love you," he says sadly.
I hold the phone to my ear and go quite Darien gives me a look.
I shake my head
"Matty I loved you, well hell I still do, but I moved on with someone else that I wanna be with so stop calling this number alright," I say slowly tears daring to fall from my eyes. I squeeze my eyes shut.
"I understand," he says sounding broken.
The line goes dead.
"You okay," Darien asks
"Yea it was my ex, " I say he hugs me
"I'll make you forget him baby" he whispers and kisses my head.

"Baby calm down were almost to ma's house"
Darien says
"Maybe the dress I wore today is too revealing, " I say still not calming down
"Baby you look fine " Darien assures me
I hope this red strapless maxi dress isn't too much I think to myself.
He pulls into his mom's parking lot.
More nerves and butterflies attack my insides.
"Baby calm down we'll get the bags later "
I nod and get out
"I got this, " I say not sounding confident
He grips my hand and tugs me to the front door and knocks.
His mother for what I can remember from years back
Opened the door.
She was pretty
Blonde locks unlike her Burnett son, blue eyes similar to her son.
She pulls me into a hug
"Lamari long time no sees the last time I saw you was when you were 8," she says hugging me.
"Yes ma'am nice to see again," I say
She let's go " I'm glad that My son found you again he was love struck over you and determined to find you" she giggles "now grandbabies will be coming soon," she says.
"Very soon, " Darien says smirking staring at me intensely
I cough awkwardly
They both laugh at my reaction.
She walks us into the kitchen
I see a handful of people talking and laughing with one another.
"Everyone this is Lamari," Darien says
Everyone stops and stares at me
"Your Childhood girlfriend, " a blonde girl asks
"The one you are mad crazy about" a dirty blonde boy asks
"Hi, " I say awkward
They all check me out quietly
"Stop scaring her, " Darien says laughing
"Lamari this is my younger sister Kelsey," he says pointing to the blonde girl with hazel eyes.
"My younger twin brothers Derrick is the blue-eyed one and Devi is the grey-eyed one" I look at them there basically younger versions of Darien and they look alike the only difference is their eyes.
"This is my older brother Kendrick " I look at his older brother he has hazel blue eyes and looks more like Kelsey
"Nice to meet yall, " I say
Kendrick smiles at me
"Nice to meet you " he kisses my hands
Darien pushes him away
Kendrick laughs
Devi looks at Derrick
"She's hot, " they both say
And hug me at the same time
"I like you already," Derrick says hugging still
"Yea well I like you more, " Devi says
"I saw her first" Derrick snaps
"I hugged her first " Devi yelps
"Alright now Horny teens remove yourselves," Kelsey says pulling them off
"I'm sorry about them but anywho nice to meet ya sister in law" she hugs me
I smile
Darien pulls me away to him
"Its 11 pm time to head to bed the rest of the family coming tomorrow, " he says
"Aww" everyone whines
"Bedtime" Darien moms replies
After we got the bags in the room I showered.
I washed and put my hair up in a ponytail and dried off.
I put on a Victoria Secret red lace set and shorts and a shirt over it and went downstairs to get a snack.
When I got back to the room Darien walked out of the bathroom butt naked.
"Ah" I cover my eyes
He chuckles and removes my hands from my eyes.
Don't look down or up my mind yells at me.
He grabs my chin and lifts my face toward his face.
"Hey there your mighty naked so let's get dressed," I say
"Nope I sleep naked " he replies
"Not with me in this bed"

He picked me up and placed me in the bed.
He spooned me from behind
"Hey move put some clothes on " I snap moving away
"Fine, " he says and puts on boxers.
He flops on me and holds me down and places his head into the crack of my neck and next thing I knew I fell asleep.
