Sawyers Pov
As soon as I saw Izzy I broke, it hurt to see her like this. Ever since I met her we became close friends she took care of me and I took care of her. When Renee gave me an idea of what was happening I was worried. Was this why Izzy wasn't texting me as much as she use to when she first came here? Looking at her she looked like she was trying to find a way to explain to me what was happening from her thoughts. I gave her time to figure out how to tell me as I wipe my tears off. How can they treat her like this, making her choose this way. It was her choice, yet they make her think it was her fault things were how they were. With Renee and Charlie fighting over these stupid boys and which one she should choose. They both told me about these guys but Izzy told me her point of view about them when she first met them.
I sigh they made these guys seem so sweet and both perfect. If they were, where were they? They had let Izzy be, with these horrible thoughts. That wasn't fair to her...She did not deserve this shit. I see her look up at me as she starts to speak softly.
"They want me to choose between Edward and Jacob....But I care for them both. One will leave if I choose the other. With Jacob's friends they obviously want me to choose him along with my dad. My mom and the Cullen's want me to choose Edward. I feel like I am causing all this trouble....It is all my fault....The voices won't stop telling me that."
My eyes widen slightly at her words. She isn't doing well.....I knew she wasn't but not to this point. I smile softly at her rubbing her back in comfort. I never understood Renee's actions for Izzy's whole life. But remembering the things these guy's did to Izzy, honestly she deserves better then either of these dudes. I pull her closer to me looking up at the sky as I softly speak to her.
"Want to know what I think?"
She nods softly into my chest not moving any more then that. I smile softly as I hear her small voice.
"You always had the best advice."
I chuckle.
"Like when you got lost in 7th grade trying to run away from Renee. You were so scared thinking someone was following you. I made sure you got to me safe and sound."
She nods again snuggling into me more as I feel her breathing start to slow down as she calms down.
"You always were so smart. W....What do you think."
I sigh pulling her to the side of me wrapping my arm around her placing it on the ground on the other side of her to keep us stable as I keep looking at the stars.
"Look up at the stars."
She softly looks up looking across the sky as I softly smile at her.
"Listen closely ok, think about each word I say."
She nods softly still looking at the sky as I sigh.
"Life is full of mysteries, they are there for reasons. Somethings can be explained versus others that can't. Life is hard but you will always have the moments, moments that you can take for yourself that only happen once in a long while. First I think you should ignore everyone here. Your mom, dad, Jacob and his friends, Edward and his family. Think for yourself because in the end it's your choice. No one can control you, no one can tell you what you should think or say. Because you are your own person, from what you told me about both of them it seems like there both trying to take control. They treat you so fragile, when that is not what you need. Edward thinks he is the best choice, however he tells you who to be friends with, what to eat, or wear, or even act. He is acting like it is the old days when ladies had no rights. He gets violent with you to the point he forcefully keeps you places. Like him breaking your truck so you can't go see Jacob. You look so skinny now because from what I know he makes you eat the rabbit food. I mean it's not bad to eat salad every now and then, but to the point where your so thin you can break. That's toxic. Then Jacob yes he is your friend but, a real friend would never force something on you that your not ready for or do not want. Jacob keeps shoving the idea of you two dating in your face trying to convince you to the point he forcefully kisses you. That right there is a dick move, he is suppose to be your friend. Yet he keeps making you feel bad for your feelings. That's toxic. They both are controlling dicks, but they also keep fighting over you and not for you. Fighting over someone is, taking control of someone forcing them to do something. Forcing them away from the other person that likes them to the point where they can't consider the other. Doing anything they can to stop you from seeing the other person in love with you. Making you feel like your doing something wrong when your not. Fighting for someone is showing them what you can do for them, provide for them, give them. Letting them know that you love them then stepping aside and letting the other person or people do the same thing and letting that person decide what they want and if they choose to pick someone else. Supporting them letting them know that you are their friend either way. Because from my experiences having someone anyway you can in your life is better then not having them at all. Or fighting for something that will never happen. The world makes situations like this for reasons. It is those people that have the only control of the solution and outcome. Based on your choice you will either make the right decisions or wrong one. No I don't mean hurting someone else, in situations like this you can't think about others you need to think for yourself. What is the healthier choice that will make you happy and not sad. The choice that let's you take control of your happiness and let's you do things for yourself and let's you have the small moments that come once in a life time. Cause Izzy that's what the game of life is, your ending is how you choose things. You can choose to try and make everyone happy but in the end it will make you have a bad ending. Or you can choose to think about yourself and your happiness and in that ending you will have a happy ending. That's what I love about you, you would give anything to make someone else happy everyone if you can. But sweet angel, I don't want to see you with that bad ending. You don't deserve that your to sweet and selfless to end like that. Just this once be selfish, choose your happiness. Your happy ending, so there is more moments to look at the stars. To grow older and maybe go to college, start your own café like you wanted. Have a nice house and boyfriend then fiancé then husband and soon after children. Because that's how I see your ending because that's all you ever wanted but only you can choose which path you take sweet girl."
I sigh looking down at her, her face glowing with the stars and moonlight so beautiful and stunning like the last time I seen her, no matter how many girls I have seen she will always be number one. I smile softly as my feelings start coming to the surface...she looked over to me. She knew....She seen it in my eyes she knew I loved her more then I told her. Her eyes telling me everything as she processes my words her emotions in her eyes changing ever so often. She wiped her tears smiling softly as she lays her head on my chest....This....This right here was the small moments in life that only come so often with certain choices. I knew Izzy more then anyone I knew what she was going to choose, it will be hard on her but she knows she deserves happiness.
