4. She's my what??!!!

Abbey Pov

I was shocked to say the least.

"what was that?" I asked again fury raging though me. did I hear her right?!

"You saved me last night" she whispered.

my eyes were wide and my anger spiked. Bad enough I had to save her again but I had the over bearing feeling of just biting her. being this close was not good for either of us.

I grab her by the arm carefully not wanting to hurt her. I can't keep her here knowing that she remembers.

"Charles. take care of this mess and meet me at the house right after." he just nodded. All of the students were watching the scene no doubt hearing the conversation and I could not be found. Not this time. word travels. I started walking her out of the school hearing protest from her two friends but we're quieted by Charles. I walked out in to the parking lot walking towards my car still not speaking. I couldn't handle what just happen and I'm trying to control my self. I know why I continue touching her. just the fact that I'm touching her again has me going crazy but I'm trying my very best to keep myself under control. My mouth was watered but the touch alone sent shocks through out my body. I walked up to the passenger side of my car and open the door for her. I released her arm.

"Get in"

" are you crazy!? who knows what you're going to do to me! what are you ?! an alien! omg last night you lied-"

I grabbed her arm and gently put her in the car again being careful not to hurt her.

"buckle up now " I slammed my car door and walk to the drivers side. I was pissed. Nobody has ever gotten off my compulsion. nobody.

I got in and started the car. I opened my window so I won't be bombarded with her scent and lose my shit.

I pulled up to my house and park in the drive way. the whole way here we were both quite. I didn't dare speak a word. Afraid of what I might do or say. she was scared the whole way here but she tried not to show it. after everything she seen me do last night she put up a brave front. Her face never have anything away but her heart did.

I got out of my car and walked up to my door opening it and leaving it open so she could follow. I heard my car door slam shut and her mumbling shit over and over again.

what the hell is going on. I just came to this town because I was almost caught and now I have to deal with this situation. there's no way she's leaving this house. she must be something. she has to be but she didn't smell of anything that day I saved her. Heather did. that's why I caught her hand. no way was a pathetic wolf was going to touch her let alone hit her while I watched.

I sighed walking into my kitchen. I need food. why wouldn't I let the omega hit her? Why didn't I walk away. Because she would of gotten hurt if I didn't step in. she's human I smelled her. I remember what she smelled like. impossible for a wolf to hide their scent from me. half the town are wolfs. but she isn't. I didn't smell anything but human scent on the girl. so how did she break my compulsion? if she's nothing but human how is it possible!?

when I grab this heather chicks arm she was both shocked and shy. I know my looks can be appealing but she also felt my power. my authority.

I heard the heather girl say "watch this" to her followers when I was walking to my assigned locker. When I looked up to see her walking into Nicole. I gritted my teeth when I saw that. She did it on purpose. heather and her minions started to speak through the pack link and I of course listened while her convinced her to hit Nicole. They kept saying do it heather but I stopped it. I gripped her hand. she was shocked my strength and by my eyes. she immediately became submissive. no one was going to touch Nicole but I grew angry with myself more and more lately. I hate feeling this way over this girl. protecting her and saving her ass has become a full time job.

I was suppose to start fresh here. not become someone's protector.

"Why am I here? and what are you?" ah almost forgot she was here. so lost in my thoughts of her that I forgot she's here.
"Would you like a drink? water or perhaps a beer?" I asked. her cheeks turned pink and her eyes averted mines. I smirked. I might as well have some fun. she has caused nothing but stress and worry from me.

"Well?"

"water please" she said above a whisper.

"so we going to a bar later then I assume? "

"would you just stop! I don't drink. Steve wanted to met there and I agreed." I just stared at her.

"if he said jump would you ? "

"God no. I just wanted to talk so I can get the damn school off my back. is that so damn bad ? I didn't know I was going to be attack."

she put her hands on head.

"why do you care anyways. I hardly know you!!"

I walked up to her. her head snapped up when I was a foot away.

"I saved you." I said walking closer to her.

"if I wasn't there. you wouldn't be standing here" I stopped in front of her. brave girl. she hasn't taken a step back.

she looked down. not staring at me. "yes I know. thank you" I was taken back by it. I want expecting that.

"wa-was that your blood last night all over your face?" she asked finally looking up and into my eyes. I wanted to lie. I didn't want her to know my ugly side. I didn't want her to know my other half but I don't want to lie. in fact k never want to lie to her. it hurt when I compelled her to forget me. before I could say anything to her Charles came into the kitchen.

"I know what happen" he said interrupting our staring.

I took a step back from her and looked at Charles.

"did you take care of the school?"

"yes. we need to talk. In private." I look at Nicole and back to charles and nodded at him.

"very well. Nicole the way you can in if you walk back the living room is there. please take a seat and I'll be back to accompany you back home. " without hearing her answer I walked to the stairs that's connected to the kitchen and walked up. I went to my room and took a seat on my couch. Charles entered and started grinning.

"oh hell what is it charles. I don't have all day." i grew impatient with his antics.

"she's your mate."

i was cross my room in a flash and had Charles by his neck.

"she's my what??!!"

I realized he couldn't breathe and let go. he fell to the floor.

"impossible. I can't have a mate. "

"yes. you can. I ran into a mating process when you left. Two wolfs. "

"that doesn't mean a thing!"

"it does when we are half wolfs."

"you're not making any sense." I said through gritted teeth. " it's not possible."

"It is possible!" he yelled. " both our species find one true pairing one mate. I thought we wouldn't at first but we can and you found yours. the wolf I saw today was aggressive and protective as were you with the girl ever since you met her even. it had me thinking so I called Ivy asked her how vampires meet their mate since I saw how wolfs mate. "
