2. what has this town gotten me into?

" Her name is Nicole Vasquez. " Charles said walking into my room. i looked up from my book allowing him to continue.

"She is 17 and a senior in Pillar High School. Her mom past away when she was young and her father left right after. she lives with her older brother who doesn't come home half the time. her boyfriend was caught cheating and that's why she was at the bar last night."

I put my book down on the table and looked up at Charles gritting my teeth. I felt my body heat up in anger but I kept my cool.

" Is that all you found?" I ask him getting up and looking at him.

" Well she isn't doing well with other students after she dump Kyle Redlick the towns basketball junkie but that's all I have gotten princess." I nodded giving him my back.

The urge to see her again was beginning to upset me and that never happens. I was never infatuated with a human until I met her.

I had been infatuated with wolfs before because I wanted to know more of myself but never came cross something let alone someone who could have me thinking of her all day. Especially those eyes.

I tired not to thinks out her all night but her eyes and her blood everything about her was calling to me and before I could think this time the words came out.

"Charles enroll us both in Pillar High. Get  all the same classes as her but you stay away. understood ?" I said facing him again.

Before I could process what I was thinking those words were thought and I was shaken from it. I don't even know her yet alone have such strong feelings so soon.

he knew not to mess with me when I gave an order even when he doesn't approve because the way he was looking me you can see he wasn't happy. he gave a swift nod though and proceeded out my room. I sighed.

I walked across my room and laid across my bed. What has this town gotten me into?

Charles came in last night and drop off my schedule and informed me that we have the same lunch which I was fine with.

I guess he didn't want to leave me alone for to long but I am more than capable and stronger than him to protect us both but I let  him have his days. I can always count on him for a job to be done though.

He never lets me down. Not all vampires can be hybrids but him and I are special. He may be a hybrid but not the same way as I am or was born to be.

it was now 7 in the morning the next day and I was getting my clothes ready. Since it's the beginning of October school has already been in progress.

I haven't been in school for ages. I was bored 20 years ago and I decided to enroll in high school. worst mistake I ever done but look at me now. All for a girl.

I grabbed my Kurt Cobain shirt. I met him once backstage it was 1992 at a gay benefit. only music that caught my attention during that time. such a shame he killed himself. he was a real artist.

I grabbed my my skinny jeans and my black converse. I didn't do anything to my hair it was just done on its own and I wear no make for my already pale face.

I age very very slowly. I was changed over a thousand years ago but I still don't look a day pass 18. my skin is flawless and I have no imperfections expect my scar on my shoulder. everywhere I walk people stop and stared and it was quite annoying. My accent was no help either.

"Charles I'm ready if you ain't in my car in 5. you can get there yourself." I said shitting my door talking normality knowing he can hear me miles away even in a whisper.

" I will still beat you there Abbey."

I grinned.

" Bring it on".

I walked out the house and stared at my Ford Mustang 2015 GT. Charles took out of the garage earlier this morning. I just brought this baby but in my last town and Charles was nice enough to bring it here.

I heard Charles lock up the front door and that's when I got into my car and started my baby right up.

"see you there" I said ramming my engine and taking off.

" I can't believe you hit me with your car " Charles said when I got out of my car. I went to the front and check the damage I did to my beauty. my head light was cracked but that's about it.

" oh get over it Charles. I beat you and that's all that matters. " I said leaning against my car watching the people go by staring at us.

Charles stood next to me with his arms folded across his chest being pissy. Someone is a sore loser. Maybe I hit him to hard but before I could comment on it.

I felt her before i saw her. I turned my head over to the end of the parking lot and saw her staring with wide eyes with two girls gapping along with her. our eyes lock on each other.

I hope that she remember me but I know my compulsion is too strong to fight. She broke eye contact with me first when a boy wrapped his arm around her neck and pulled her into a kiss.

I turned my attention back to the other students but I heard her push him off and call him a cheating whore and started walking towards the school. I smirked. so she must have some wit to her.

"Not since the 90's have I said let's go to class here we are. are you ready ?" I said to Charles standing straight. He shrugged his shoulders and looked at me with a smirk.

" you know you may be my future queen but for now princess not everything you say I have to do unless you are in danger but yet here I am going to "class" again. I'm going to have so much fun here. " he said sarcastically walking off.

"anything you do you will regret. " I said following behind him.

he laughed but continued walking.

"oh by the way princess if you need me here take this." he said handing me an iPhone. " Text me when you want to ditch. " I nodded my head knowing full on well I wouldn't be.

Not while she's here.
