Third Person POV
Su She seethed with anger, his frustration boiling within him as he realized that Jin Xuanyu was no longer within the premises.
Determined to regroup and reassess his next steps, he made his way back to his quarters, only to be confronted by Master Lan standing outside his room. In a display of respect, Su She halted in front of Master Lan, bowing his head in deference.
"Master Lan," Su She addressed him, his voice laced with a mixture of apprehension and respect.
With a stern gaze, Master Lan delivered his verdict, his words carrying the weight of authority. "Your punishment will commence at sunrise tomorrow. Do not venture outside without my explicit orders." With a final statement, Master Lan departed, leaving Su She seething with frustration, his teeth gritted in irritation as he glared at the retreating figure.
Aware of the implications, Su Minshan understood the gravity of the situation. Master Lan's keen perception threatened to unravel their plans and potentially endanger Xuanyu.
Su Minshan was acutely aware that any misstep could jeopardize their carefully laid out scheme, a scheme that Jin Guangshan himself had a vested interest in seeing succeed.
The Next Day
Inside his chamber, As the morning sun bathed the sky, Wangji slowly awakened from his slumber, only to find that Xuanyu was no longer by his side.
A sigh escaped his lips as he realized that his beloved had already departed and returned home. Wangji knew better than to tire himself searching for Xuanyu, understanding that their time together had come to an end for now.
However, a mischievous grin gradually spread across Wangji's face as he reminisced about the adventurous date they had just two days ago. The memory of their time spent together lingered in his mind, rent-free and filled with joy. He yearned for more, craving the presence of the younger man in his life..
There was something about Xuanyu that intrigued Wangji, a magnetic pull and a confusing sense of familiarity that he couldn't quite explain. The silver eyes and infectious smile of Xuanyu were imprinted in his mind, and he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the younger man than met the eye. The young master had left an indelible mark on his heart, and Wangji was determined to uncover the mysteries that surrounded him.
Lost in his thoughts, Wangji failed to notice his twin brother, XiChen, entering his chamber. XiChen greeted him with a warm smile, approaching him with curiosity in his eyes.
"Where is Jin-gongzi?" XiChen inquired, his voice filled with playful intrigue.
"He has returned to Lanling," Wangji replied, his tone tinged with bitterness.
"You let him slip away from your side once again, brother?" XiChen teased, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Wangji remained silent, his gaze fixed ahead as he walked towards the courtyard. XiChen chose to follow, his smile never wavering.
"A-yu knows exactly where he belongs, Xiongzhang," Wangji muttered under his breath, his words filled with a mix of determination and uncertainty.
XiChen chuckled softly, a hint of disbelief in his voice. The bond between Wangji and Xuanyu was undeniable, and XiChen couldn't help but find amusement in his brother's internal struggle.
Lanling Jin Sect
Xuanyu finally returned to Lanling, where his father eagerly awaited him. His father wasted no time in asking about the success of Xuanyu's mission to make Wangji fall for him.
