Aevyr stepped onto the battlefield with a calm demeanor, his eyes reflecting confidence but devoid of arrogance. He radiated a sense of natural balance, as if he was completely in tune with the world around him.

Jaxon took a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for the challenge ahead. He had heard of Chloromancers before, but he wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Aevyr's reputation as a formidable opponent preceded him, but Jaxon knew he had to stay focused.

Aevyr gave a small nod to Jaxon as a sign of respect before the battle commenced. "Your performance yesterday was impressive," Aevyr began, his voice steady and calm. "You managed to defeat Imay and Sindri. The two best students of this school yet don't be too confident, you have yet to face me."

Jaxon responded with a determined look. "Don't worry, you won't be disappointed."

With that, the fight began. Aevyr's hands moved with fluid precision as he commanded, "Plant Magic-Chloris Sapling."

The ground beneath them trembled as a strange, twisted plant emerged from the earth. Its slender teeth and thorny vines hinted at something far more dangerous than it initially appeared.

Leba, watching from the sidelines, glanced at Niac with a puzzled expression. "What can a weird-looking plant do against Jaxon? How does a Chloromancer even stand a chance? Jaxon could just burn down his plants with fire magic."

Niac's eyes narrowed as he watched Aevyr. "Fair point, but something about Aevyr doesn't feel right. I have a bad feeling... I think he's more powerful than he appears."

Jaxon wasted no time and summoned his fire magic. "Pyro Magic-Exploding FireShot!" A blazing ball of fire shot from Jaxon's hand, hurtling towards the Chloris Sapling. But just before the fireball hit its mak, Aevyr calmly said, "Aegis Dew."
