"Chloe. Tell me everything. I wanna know about the whole Maddie situation."

Chloe paled under her makeup, which was as perfect as it had always been.

"Jeez Kendall...still obsessed with Maddie? Seriously, it was years ago."

I raised an eyebrow. Chloe obviously doesn't know about my newfound status at her old school.

I stepped closer to her and pursed my lips. "Does anything about me look different to you?"

She gave me a once or twice over, then frowned.

"Well, you look more confident, and you finally realised how to dress for your looks- wait, I'd know that scent anywhere," she narrowed her eyes, "Maddie. Either you've seriously gone full stalker on her, or you're hanging out with her."

"I am," I sighed, annoyed at the fact that she was treating me like the old me; the old Kendall. So I took a leaf out of Maddie's book. "But I swear to God, Chloe, if you continue to be rude as hell to me, I will ruin you here. I may not know the full story, but I know enough to make you move towns..... a second time."

"You've changed..."

"I know. Now when can you explain? I wanna get home before midnight."

"You are literally her clone - I mean, I guess now is fine. I just have to be back for halftime, I'm a flyer."

"You've gotten rid of the baby weight fast, huh?"

She gave me the dirtiest look known to man kind and turned on her heel, dragging me by my wrist to her teammates.

"Kendall, you're a French exchange student, okay?" she told me through gritted teeth.

"Oui oui!" I smirked and she huffed, instantly losing her angry demeanour when she reached her teammates.

"Girls! Mom has this exchange student! Her name is, uh, Gisele! Gisele, say hello to the girls!" She nudged me heavily.

"Bonjour! Hello!" I said, in my best French accent.

The overly peppy group of cheerleaders at this school all squealed, said hi, and hugged me like I was some kind of cute dog.

"You are so pretty!"

"Where in France are you from?"

"Are French boys hot!?"

"We don't do French here! I wish we did!"

"Is the shopping good there?"

"Girls, girls, Gisele doesn't speak a lot of English! But I'll be back for half time show, I just have to drive her to my house so she can, um, skype her family!"

Chloe's a terrible actress, but luckily for her, I'm brilliant.

"Au revoir, de belles filles! Vous avez voix grinçantes très ennuyeux! Aimé vous rencontrer," I blew air kisses, "I love America!"

After we finally got away, Chloe frowned at me.

"I barely remember French from Franklin High, but I definitely heard you say squeaky."

I adopted a smug look. "The translation for that was some where along the lines of 'Goodbye, beautiful girls! You have very annoying squeaky voices! Loved meeting you.' You're a bad actor, by the way."

"You're a bitch, Kendall. And a show off. Impressive, though."

"I know, now let's sit in my car. We won't be heard there, if you're lucky."

-

Half an hour later, and boy was I enlightened.

Chloe had told me the full story...

Basically, what Maddie and Paige had originally said had been true, that Chloe did cheat on Josh with Mikey at the blow out party, get pregnant, and leave out of fear for Maddie or Paige spreading the rumour.... but they didn't, and Chloe told me the bargaining chip that enabled the rumour to be kept under wraps...

Maddie had a fling with a teacher?!

Of course, this would go down better with the school then Chloe's pregnancy would, but this piece of evidence would not only ruin the teacher, but Maddie would probably get thrown out of the school too.

And only that teacher, Chloe, Maddie, and now me knew about it.

"It's up to you what you do with this information, Kendall.... use it wisely."

And with those mind-boggling words, she got out of the car, sauntered off, leaving me sitting there, my mind racing at a million miles a minute.

-

The drive home went quickly; I guess traffic was good. I parked in my drive way, and quietly entered my house, waving to my parents, who were watching TV, making up dumb answers to mom's questions about my 'date'.

That night, Oliver texted me, but I ignored him, not even reading it. I felt stupid for crushing on someone, and even telling Paige, who slept with him.

I thought about all the other boys in my life, who I'd ignored or curved because I was crushing on Oliver. Paige had always been so nice, so why did she try and ruin the good things in my life? It didn't make sense and it made me unhappy, even though I knew she was ruined by Nick's video. It was all over facebook and it was a constant hot topic, with statuses, gossip, and even memes being sent around our school.

Paige was gonna get it.

Honey, you've got a big storm coming.
