Chapter 1

Hiyori's POV

~ Tenjin's Shrine ~

I was with Yato and Yukine. Yato was asleep mumbling and squirming around. "He must be fantasizing in his dreams again." I said. An annoyed sigh slips from Yukine's mouth. " I'm too old for this crap." He said. "But Yukine, you're dead." I said shyly .

"I mean this crap is getting old." He sounding a little annoyed. "I am Yato God!" Yato yelled in his sleep. Yukine walked over to Yato and kicked him down the stairs. "Shut up!" Yukine yelled.

"Y-y-yu-ki-ne!" Yato managed to say while rolling down the stairs.

Yukine turned around and started walking away. " Wait Yukine. Where are you going?" I asked.

"Somewhere that's not here. I need a break." He replied. "Come back!! You spoiled brat!" Yato yelled. I look at Yato then over to Yukine.

" Wait up Yukine, I'm coming with you." I called out and jogged over to Yukine. " Hiyori not you too. You traitors." Yato yelled. " Someone's gotta look after him." I yelled before leaving.

Yato's POV

~ Tenjin's Shrine ~

"Wait Hiyori. You forgetting something? Like your body you're leaving behind!" I yelled. But they did turn around. "Hiyori!"

They already left. Those two. Seriously.

I got to my feet, dusted myself off, then headed up the stairs. When I got to the top of the stairs, I picked up Hiyori's body and carried her on my back. I then decided to follow them to see where they were going.

Hiyori's POV

~ Tokyo ~

Yukine and I were walking down a street when a girl called out "Hiyori!". I turn to see who it is and see that it was Kofuku. She runs over to me and hugs me. "Kofuku, why are out and about?" I ask.

"I was board being at the same old place all the time. There's nothing to do. So I left." She said cheerfully. "But won't you get in trouble for leaving?" I ask. " Probably but I don't care right now, let's go do something fun." She said prancing in front of me.

Kofuku linked her arm with mine and started to drag me with her. "But wait Kofuku. I need to..." Kofuku cut me off. "Come on." Kofuku said. "But, but, Yukine." I called out to him. "Yukine!"

I called out for him a couple more times but he still didn't hear me " Yukine why don you have to be so annoying" I said and continued walking away with Kofuku.

"So Hiyori how are things with Yato?" she ask hinting a relationship between us. "W-w-what do you mean by that?" I ask blushing. "Oh you know" she says leaning closer to me. I blush a bit more and she continues to pull me around Tokyo.

Yukine's POV

~ Tokyo ~

I walk down the street a little more and see the mall. I go inside and head to the skateboard shop. While walking to the store a guy with orange hair and headphones on his shoulders bumped into me. Having a smoothie that he had in his hands spill all over me

"Oh my so sorry." He says nervously.

" Whatever" I say annoyed. " How about I'll make that up by going to buy you and me another one?" He asks. I shrug my shoulder and walk next to him.

" My name is Hide by the way." He says holding his hand out for a hand shake.

"I'm Yukine" I say declining his handshake. We walk down the mall a bit more and go down the escalator.

Then to the left of us was the smoothie shop. " Here is it." He says pointing to the shop. We walking inside and wait in line.

" So you come around a lot Yukine?" He says. "Kind of". "So do you know what your going to get?" He asks.

"Umm......" I look up at the ordering menu and have not idea of what to get. "What are you getting?" I ask. " I'm going to get a......strawberry smoothie, and you?" He asks again. "Same"

We finally get up to the register and order our drinks. We then walk out of the shop. "Where you heading to?" He asks. "I'm going to the skateboard shop" I say.

"Oh cool where I'm going is past there, I'll go with you to make sure no more drinks spill on you." He says with a bit of a laugh.

We go back up the escalator and walk down the mall. " So what you here for?" He asks. " I came to look at the skateboards" I say looking at the ground.

"Cool I came here to get a book for a friend." He says.

We walk a bit more and were about to get to the skateboard when we run into Hiyori and Kofuku. " Hey Yukine!" Kofuku yells waving and runs over to Hide and I while dragging Hiyori with her.

"What do you guys want?" I say annoyed. "Well we were having a girls day" Kofuku says happily."Hey Yukine I'm sorry, for leaving you earlier" Hiyori says."It's fine" I say "Who's this?" Kofuku asks poking Hide. "Hi I'm Hide" he says smiling.

"Ohh well aren't you just cute" Kofuku says "Hi, I'm Hiyori and this is Kofuku" Hiyori says smiling and pointing to Kofuku. "Hi!"Kofuku says happily .

All of us continue to talk a bit longer and then we all decided to go to the bookstore with Hide. "So Hide who's you friend that your getting a book for?" Hiyori asks. "I'm getting a book for my friend Kaneki" Hide says.

This Hide guys seems alright I've never met anyone I actually like before after I've died. I just hope that idiot Yato doesn't mess things up
