Chapter 4

Hiyori's POV

~ Bookstore ~

I walked back over to the group. "Miss Hiyori, what did Yato say?" Kaneki asked. "Oh... umm... nothing important." I say unsure. Kaneki nodded his head. What could be so bad about Kaneki? He seems nice. Miss Hiyori." Kaneki started. "Yea."

"Do you wanna come to the coffee shop Anteiku and meet some friends of mine?" Kaneki asked. "Sure. I'd love to." I say happily.

Together we left the rest of the group and headed to the place where we're meeting Kaneki's friends.

We get to the place and he opens the door for me and I walk in. It is a cute coffee shop in the 20th ward.

As I enter the store all of the works greet me kindly. "Hello, welcome to Anteiku" says a girl with black hair standing behind the counter.

Kaneki enters the shop and stands next to me. " Hello everyone this is Hiyori." He says smiling and pointing to me. I shyly smile and wave.

"Ooo... she's pretty." A little girl, with short light brown hair and brown eyes, said.

I look at the little girl and smiled with a bit of a blush and said, "Thank you." She then quickly went behind one of the workers. I could tell she was shy.

A waitress with black hair came over and sat Kaneki and I at a table by the window. "Hi I'm Irimi, and I will be severing you today. What would you like to order?" She asked.

" I'll have some coffee please." Kaneki said kindly. " Ummm.....I would like to have a sandwich and some hot chocolate please." I say unsure of what I'm ordering.

"Ok I will be right back with your order." Irimi said before leaving.

Kaneki's POV:

~Anteiku~

Koma then walked up to Hiyori and I. He leaned closer to me and asked, "So is this your girlfriend?"

"N-n-no." I stutter shyly and begin to blush a bit. "Ok whatever you say tiger." Koma says and then walks away. Irimi then walks over with a tray of food and coffee.

"Here's your food." Irimi says putting the tray down with the food and coffee on it. Hiyori grabs her sandwich and grabs her hot chocolate. While I grab my coffee.

" Is that all your going to have?" Hiyori asks. "Oh I had something before I came here." I said shyly. Hiyori nods an then takes another bite of her sandwich.

After we both finish our foods and drinks I decided to formally introduce Hiyori to my friends. "Hiyori this is Hinami" I say and Hinami waves shyly. "And that's Nishkini, Koma, Irimi, Toka, and Hoito." I say gesturing to each person.

"Hello it's nice to meet you all." Hiyori smiles brightly. We all talk about bit and Hiyroi gets to know my friends at Anteiku. Then it begins to get dark outside.

"I'm so sorry to say this Kaneki but I have to go home, it's getting late and my mom is going to kill me if I don't get there soon" Hiyori says in a sad tone of speaking.

"Ohh okay." I say sadly. "Do you mind if I walk you home?" I ask shyly. Hiyori nods her head with a warm smile. Everyone waves goodbye to Hiyori and I as we exits the shop.

As we we're walking Hiyori said. "Oh, Kaneki I would like to bring some food over tomorrow for everyone." Hiyori says happily.

"Oh you don't have to do that." I say worried about us being exposed.

"No, no I insist." She says insistently. I can't be rude and turn her down. She has been so kind. "Oh ok fine" I say with defeat and a bit of blush. Once we got to her house we said our goodbyes. "See you tomorrow Kaneki." Hiyori said sweetly. I smiled back. "Yea see ya." I said.
