Chapter 8 - The hospital

3rd Person

Will walks in to see mike with tubes going into his arms. He is as pale as a ghost and his eyes have dark circles under them.

"Oh my god.." Will gasps.

He walks over to the chair next to mike and sits down. He just looks at the sleeping boy next to him and sighs.

"Im so sorry mike, I dont even understand what happened.." Will apologizes even though Mike can't actually hear him, feeling horribly guilty.

Will reaches out and grabs mikes pale hand and holds it, rubbing the back with his thumb.

"Im so, so sorry.." He mumbles.

Mikes eyelashes flutter open and he sees will.

"Will" Mike smiles, looking over at the boy.

Will just blushes at him, "How do you feel?"

"Im tired, and my head really hurts." Mike states, sounding sleepy

"Mike, Im so so sorry" Will sighs, frowning

"Its okay, Im sorry too." Mike apologizes

Will smiles and holds Mikes hand tighter. Mike goes to say something but Max, Dustin and Lucas walk in.

"Oh my god!! Mike I thought u were dead you mong!" Max says, still sounding panicked.

Mike just giggles while lucas and dustin bombard him with questions

"Dude what the hell happened?"

"We heard screaming, and these massive shatters!!"

"Did you smash all the windows?"

"The front ones were smashed.."

Mike went to answer but will did first.

"We were arguing. But we are fine now." He spoke, sounding slightly sad.

"Oh- Uh yeah right." Mike replied.

The three gave them weird looks but left it and started talking about random things. They all cheered up and when the nurse came in and told everyone they had to let mike rest, they did.

"Okay, will. Tell us everything. Why were you guys arguing?" Max asked once they had gone down the hallway, clearly intruiged

"I got mad at him for ignoring me the whole summer, and for ignoring me all of school today.." Will trailed off

"Is that it?" She asked

"Yeah..?" Will spoke, sounding unsure of himself.

"Well we heard you scream then a massive shatter from like, everywhere!!" Dustin added.

"Oh, right. Uhm I dont actually know what that was." Will informed them

"Oh. Well thats really weird." Lucas told them

"Yeah obviously, dumbass" Dustin said sarcastically

"Shut up, nerd"

"Your a nerd too!!"

"I AM NOT A NERD? EXCUSE U"

"YES YOU ARE! YOU LITERALLY GET INVESTED IN ERICAS DOLL DRAMA."

Lucas just stares at him

"You did not just expose me like that." Lucas gasps

"Oh yes I did." Dustin smirks

"GET HERE U LITTLE SHIT"

"AHHHHHHHHH" They both run out of the hospital.

Once they are both out of sight, Max speaks again.

"Will, you know I wont judge you, what were you really arguing about?" Max asks

Will just sighs.

"He brought up eleven. Again. And I love eleven dont think I dont, but she is all he talks about. Every single time we have a conversation, its always eleven. Eleven this, Eleven that. So I asked him why do we always have to talk about his girlfriend and he said. Something." Will explains

"What did he say?"

"Its not my fault you dont like girls.." Will trails off.

"Oh. What did you say to him after?"

"I got really upset and said it is his fault and I didnt mean to!! It just slipped out. And then he got really curious and he was all like 'What does that mean' and obviously I didnt tell him and I got up to leave and he grabbed my wrist so I told him to let go. He didnt, so I told him again. He didnt. So i just screamed at him to let go.. And he. Uhm. Went flying and then I just passed out." He explained

"Holy shit will!! You have powers? How!? Were you in the lab as well?" Max yells

"Max keep your voice down! But I dont know if I have them. I was never in the lab so I dont understand how I would have them?" Will states, sounding confused.

"Is that why the windows were all shattered?"

"I think so.."

"Back to the actual argument, does mike know your gay?" Max whispers

"No.. he would probably hate me." Will sighs

"And he never will know. I dont wanna loose him, max."

Little does will know, mike knows. Everything.
