Chapter 1 - Back to school

3rd Person

- 6:45am -

"WILL WAKE UP ITS TIME FOR SCHOOL, BREAKFAST IS ON THE TABLE" Will groans as his eyes adjust to the light coming through his curtains. He sits up and slips his shirt on and walks down to grab his breakfast, where his mum, brother, and sister are sat.

"Good morning will!" Eleven says excited

"Good morning el"

"Are you excited to go back to school?" Will smiles at his sisters enthusiasm to go to school, as this will be her first time going to a proper school.

"Very," Will lies, sitting down at the table. "you?"

"Im so excited!" Eleven squeals as she finishes the last couple bites of her toast.

Will watches as she gets up and runs to her room to get her outfit ready. He bites down on his toast and wonders what the new school year will be like, hoping it wont be bad.

Will quickly finishes his toast and grabs his and el's plates and places them in the sink, as he starts to walk to his room he hears his mother say in an attempted whisper, "Jonathan please can you take will and el to school, I need to get going and I cant take them to school today"

Will just sighs, he wishes his mum could get more time off during the week days. But theres no time to think about that now, so will goes to his closet (wink wink) and picks out an outfit.

He finishes getting dressed and goes to brush his teeth and wash his face, which only takes about 5 minutes. He decides to just sit down and watch a bit of TV.

After about 15 minutes of watching TV, will hears el finish in the bathroom and start walking into the room hes in, so he turns around to see her.

"How do I look?" El asks, slightly nervous for her brothers reaction.

"El you look stunning!" Will replies

"Is it too much for school?" El asks, she had put on a little bit of lipgloss and mascara, which Joyce had taught her to use during the summer holidays.

"I think you look perfect, now lets get going before we end up being late."

- 7:30am -

Will and el pull up into school and thank Jonathan for dropping them off. They get out of the car and see Max and Mike bickering at the bike rack.

"Oh you stupid bitch just cos u broke up with lucas AGAIN doesn't mean you can be rude to me"

"Shut up Wheeler I will literally knock your teeth out I swear to GOD"

Will and el look at each other and burst into a fit of giggles which makes Max and Mike turn around.

"El, Will finally!! We thought you weren't going to show up" Max yelled, happy to see her friends.

"Hey el" Mike softly said, placing a kiss on el's cheek, which made her turn a light shade of pink. Will glared at them and gritted his teeth.

Will had knew he was gay for a very long time now, and he also knew he had a massive crush on his best friend, Mike Wheeler. Which was unfortunate because Mike was dating his step sister, eleven.

Max noticed Will looking at the pair funny and decided to speak to him, "Hey will, could I speak to you for a second?"

Will looked confused but said yes, and told Mike and El to go get their timetables and he and max would meet them soon.

"Whats wrong? Are you okay?" Will questioned, still confused on what max needed to talk to him about.

"Why did you look so upset when we were all over at the bike rack?" Max questioned, thinking she knew the answer already.

Wills heart dropped.

She can't know, can she?

"I- Uh..."

"Holy shit! Do you like eleven?? Im not gonna lie thats a bit odd since she is y-"

"Oh my god max no I dont have a crush on el, thats gross. Why would u think that?" Will asked, relieved she didnt think he had a crush on mike but also a bit weirded out that she thought he would have a crush on his sister.

"Its just Mike kissed El on the cheek and you looked a bit..." Max trailed off, now knowing what was going on.

"Oh my god. You like Mike dont you?" Max asked, proud of herself for figuring it out.

"Lower your voice Max!!" Will hissed

"Oh oops sorry, but you didn't answer my question." She apologized

Will just sighed. "...Yes"

Max looked at him with sympathetic eyes and gave him a hug. Will instantly hugged back, and let a few tears fall.

"Lets get you freshened up and then we can go meet the others and get our schedules, okay?"

"Okay."

Omg!! First chapter done and I am so proud of myself :'))
