Kai's House
It was a few days later, some had slept over at Kai's house for the past few days because of stress.
Some he didn't even know, it was a trauma bond kinda thing. They all didn't wanna leave.
Who was staying: Judas, Ronnie, Jamie, Jade, Ace, and Oli.
Jade had been cozying up next to Oli that weekend, while Ace had to watch. He felt like her squire who had to stay by her side at all times and never comment on anything.
Judas had been making friends with Ronnie, which also meant Kai.
Jamie didn't fit in with anybody besides Oli, who was very much preoccupied.
On Tuesday is when things started to become hectic, they'd all been in the same house due to the traumatic thing they experienced, but they hadn't left.
Not to get gas, groceries, visit Lucas, or on a walk.
Ace was sharing a bedroom with Jade for the first day until she begged him to switch with Oli, so now he was stuck with Jamie.
He was packing his clothes, while dirty ones were on. He didn't except to stay as long as he already had.
As he had the duffle bag in his hand, heading out without saying goodbye, Kai stopped him by the door.
"Where are you going, dude?" He had a grey, plain tee shirt on with black sweat pants.
Ace felt intimidated for reasons he didn't know, a lot of people had that effect on him.
"I'm going home." Ace stiffened up.
"Why?" Kai patted his back and stepped into his kitchen, expecting Ace to follow him.
"It's just time, Jamie is a good roommate though, so I'm sad." He had to keep the ugly humor flowing so he had something to say.
"Alright bud, just don't run away again." Kai chuckled.
Ace had a history for dropping everything and leaving without telling anybody for days at a time, it was usually with family. It wasn't very appropriated, he was just gone.
He used this as a pouting tactic when he's get upset, or any bit of stress seeped through him. Ace would beg his parents to leave so he could have a peaceful mind. It worked because he didn't answer anybody once.
"Mhm," and with that, he kicked the front door open.
Jade yawned and entered the kitchen, she had an over sized tee shirt on and a thong she stole from Victoria Secret.
She held her arm against the wall, holding herself up and the door slammed behind Ace.
Jade yawned again, "He left? Why?"
The idea crossed through her mind to chase after him, but did she want to go through that? Put on her shoes, put on pants,...
Kai cut off her thoughts as he cracked two eggs onto a frying pan, "Who fuckin' knows..." He was distracted by making sure the shell didn't fall in, "But all I know is he's not sticking around for long. I'm not either."
The Hospital
Cozen, Kat, and Chanel were walking in the parking lot to the entrance into the hospital.
Chanel had been there every day, this was Cozen's second time, and Kat's first. It was the right thing to do, to visit. They'd all witnessed the accident. Lucas' death.
