Allie was tapping her feet on the street, a block down from Kelly's house. She held her knees to her chest, her ass starting to hurt from sitting on the curb.
Although it being 86 (F) outside, she was wearing a plaid, brown and black button up, and ripped light blue jeans. There was something so special to her about being different. If she didn't feel like how she should, then why act like it?
And suddenly it hit her, what was she doing there? She didn't wanna confront Kelly, she just wanted to... sleep. Something that didn't require effort.
Lucas' hands were in his pockets as he skipped along the sidewalk, he could barely see what was in front of him. A car, a killer, a dog, who knew.
"Oh, you." She spat the words out like fire, she didn't particularly like Lucas. Not many did besides Chanel, and the rest didn't care.
Jade, Jesse, and Allie didn't like how awkward he was, they thought something was odd about him on how he always followed Kelly and Chanel around.
Obviously Kelly doesn't feel the same about him if she didn't invite him to the secret hang out that day.
"Hey..." his voice was rigid.
"Yeah, yeah."
He sat next to her, the two in silence and in the dark. She was slowly inching away, trying not to make it too obvious.
Out of anything to be able to see, the two saw Becca's bright colored bike down the street. Then Chanel, Ella, Remi, Ace, Cozen, and Jade.
Chanel was deathly out of breath, face all bright red. It was the more colorful than Becca's bike.
Allie moved harshly to the left now, away from Lucas, "So what's the plan? We're just gonna... storm inside and demand why she didn't invite you? Probably since she's a fucking bitch. Its obvious."
Nobody was surprised at her reaction to the whole situation, Allie didn't particularly like Kelly either. And then other times, the two were as close as she used to be with Antonio.
Remi agreed, "Idk, Chanel wants to confront them."
Chanel rolled her eyes, "Both of you, no, I just wanna see what's up. I'm not gonna go in yelling, I just..." she dramatically drew her eyes away from the group and up at the barely dim sky, "wanna see what they see."
"Yeah, okay." Ella chuckled, "Chanel, we know you. You're gonna get angry under five seconds of seeing Kai's face."
This struck a nerve that was already sore, "Well, Ella, I've changed than how I was as a 14 year old child, I wouldn't expect you to know since you haven't been here."
Allie was glaring at Ace the whole time, she'd like him for a while now. They barely even talked, but she thought his style was hot. She thought their personalities were a match.
Ace was whiny when he didn't get he wanted, he'd sulk in the corner and disappear a lot. When he wasn't upset, he was protective and had a witty sense of humor. Allie liked to block out the other parts.
"So let's go?" Cozen was over Ella trying to make something of herself. She'd usually call her out for calling anybody out, especially her friend Chanel, but the timing was not right. The evening would already be chaotic enough.
"Yes, please." Becca was the first to start peddling.
Lucas was struggling, "Wait-" The others starting following her, "Wait, Chanel, my bike is over there... Can you wait?" He was always pleading for something.
