Chapter 9 - Tell him

Mikes POV

God why am I so thirsty? Im just gonna go ask for some water. Thank god all those stupid tubes from my arm are gone.

I walk out of room, and head down to the reception.

"Well does mike know your gay?"

Thats max. I can tell. She cant whisper very well.

"No.. he would probably hate me."

I cant tell who that is?

"And he never will. I dont want to loose him, max."

Oh. Its will. I immediately think of our argument earlier

"Its not my fault you dont like girls" I now understand what he meant by its my fault. Oh my god. He likes me back? Holy shit! Finally.

I accidentally trip coming round the corner and they both turn around.

"M-Mike!?" I hear wills panicked voice

"Heyy.." I say awkwardly

"What- Why are you here?" He asks, distressed

"I was thirsty" I state

Silence. This is awkward.

"Uhm.. Im gonna go grab my water now."

"Okay" Max and Will said at the same time

Wills POV

(Mike walks away)

"MAX!! I THINK HE HEARD US!" I scream

"WILL CALM DOWN!!" Max screans back at me

"Listen, why don't you just talk to him when he gets released from the hospital." She suggests calmly

"Okay.." I sigh

"It will be okay will, maybe you should just tell him."

"What? Why? He would hate me anyway."

"Will..."

"What?"

"Have you not seen the way he looks at you? That boy is head over heels for you!!" She tells me

"Max. He is in love with el. El is inlove with him. He doesn't like me. I dont have a chance." I tell her

"Will. Just tell him. Do you really want to be friends with someone who doesn't accept you for who you are?" She asks me.

"No, not really."

"Then see if he accepts you! And if he doesn't then leave his ass!!" She shouts

"Good idea!" I yell, and get up from the waiting room.

"I will be right back!! I add, already half way down the hall,
