I had dinner with his family then I left with some excuses.

Today mark one week after Ethan left for Indonesian. He often called me. We talked about our days despite his busy schedule. Today also mark one-month I've been working in Neo culture Tech. I am closer to everyone now.

"Mashie, Nathan Hilman Lee called you" said Kazu who answered the offices phone.

"Mashie what is wrong with your phone? Why you didn't pick up? You know how long I have been dialing your number?" Nathan shouted, probably screaming at the phone

"Hello to you too Nathan. My battery died. Why did you call? Miss me already?" I teased

"What I am going to tell you won't be an amazing new but I need you to promise that you need to be as calm as possible" his voice turned so cold

He added "I'll take that silent as a Yes. I want you to take uber to Kwangya hospital right now and remember not to drive"

"What is happening?" I asked, wishing nothing happen to his parent

"Just come alright" he hung up

I arrived 30 minute later. Mrs. Lee rushed toward me, staring right into my soul before sobbing. She hugged me. "Aunty, what is happening?"

She couldn't stop crying so I shift my gaze toward Mr. Chen lee who is also crying then I had to ask Nathan who is trying so hard not to sobs.

Nathan hesitated then answered reluctantly "Ethan Fucking Josh Lee just left the world"

It all happened so quickly it took my brain several beats to catch up with pounding pulse. "No, he is Indonesia, isn't it? He is busy with the factory visitation in Jakarta"

"I will call Ethan; nothing is happening to him. I'm sure" I dial Ethan number, trying to hold my tears

I went with Mr. Chen Lee to check the body. My boy still smiling on his dead bed. Why did the explosion have to happen at the factory on the day he visited? Why did he have to leave the world?

I didn't move. I couldn't stop myself from crying. Uncle Chen and me just stared at poor Ethan. Another long beat passed before we leave.

I will be spending the night at the Lee house because I don't think I will be able to stay alone. I am still unable to accept the fate.

"Mashie, how are you holding up?" Uncle Chen said while driving

"I don't know everything is happening too fast. I don't think I will be able to accept the fact that he is no longer in the world. Why does it have to be him?" I started to cry again
