Points with "•" are general facts that form the basis of the story, and "➼" are things related to the "•" points. "♠" are fun facts about MSP and the other worlds surrounding it or a fun fact about a specific point. "♣" is about specific characters.
• Moviestarplanet: A world that is based off of celebrity culture in real life. The world is a lot smaller than Earth, since the only servers or countries are European and North American.
➼ Main servers: Servers where the highest level is 101 and they typically have more users.
➼ Junior servers: Servers where the highest level is 90-73 and they are typically more quiet or "dead"• Moviestars: Humanoid creatures that are cartoonish versions of humans, in appearance and physical actions.
➼ Alternate names: humans, players, citizens, users, "stupid people" by Blockstars
Below is an example of a female moviestarPictured here is Becca Beats - the character you would typically see when you scroll through animations in the actual game on a girl account
Below is an example of a male moviestar :
Pictured here is Zeke Cassidy - the moviestar you see when scrolling through animations on a boy account
• Highscorers: Moviestars that are on the first and second page of the leaderboard.
➼ Levels are determined by how popular a moviestar is in all or most entertainment industries on MSP (for example mybeau is a highscorer because she's pretty popular in most industries, movies, artbooks, and looks. But it is possible to be mostly known in one industry or "space" and still be a highscorer, Zain is a good example of that, but it's also dependent on the server itself)
➼ Queen/King Bee: A moviestar that is first place on the leaderboards
♠ Long after pumpchkin quit and the #1 spot was taken over by mybeau, people still refered to pumpchkin as Queen Bee• There are different types of industries and jobs on MSP, from the entertainment industry (directors, models, artbook editors, tabloid reporters, regular news reporters, fashion bloggers, etc.) to the service industry (store clerks, baristas, petsitters, etc.)
• Hacking: A hacking occurs when a foreign (typically another moviestar/blockstar) entity takes over a moviestar/blockstar without said moviestar's permission with the intent to cause harm or to flat out murder the moviestar/blockstar (account deletion). A hacking is usually equated to a demonic possession because of the fact that the moviestar/blockstar have no autonomy over themselves when being hacked.
• Shared accounts: Moviestars with multiple owners have the names of the owners on the moviestar's ID and other documentation. The moviestar will be referred to as the name of the main owner in this series, but if moviestar is operating via a different owner, then that will be clarified in the episode ( [character's name] *as [account name]*).
Law Enforcement
•There are two different types of law enforcement branches: Local Police Departments and the Planet Safety Taskforce.
• Local Police Department: Equipped to handle minor cases like physical altercation, vandalism, public disturbance, and other petty crimes.
➼ Police Officers: Just like a police officer in real life, a police officer in MSP has the power to arrest people and place them in jail. They are typically seen wearing the police uniforms of the country in real life.• Planet Safety Taskforce (PST): Equipped to handle major cases like fraud, scamming, grooming, and hacking.
➼ Moderators: They are the ones that have the ability to actually lock users in jail, and formally charge them in most cases. Bail also must be approved by a moderator too before the user can actually be released. In most cases, moderators are regular moviestars that just happen to be moderators. They also have "Moderator" stamped in their ID and noted in other documentation.
➼ Admins: Just like moderators, administrators have the power lock users in jail and formally charge them. But unlike moderators, admins have access to a player's assets (starcoins, fame, diamonds, etc.) and if they suspect a player is obtaining assets illegally, they have the right to freeze the specific user's assets to investigate. They'll typically be seen in suits or some form of business attire, but there are exceptions to this - Claus, for example, who dresses in either casual outfits or just flat out clown outfits.
♠ During raids, the jackets that moderators are seen wearing are navy blue with "PST MOD" embroidered in gold letters on the back. While admins would wear black jackets with "PST ADMIN" embroidered in white letters on the back.
