I obviously already know but I suck at small talk.
"Yeah, so I'm guessing you're playing my girlfriend?" She laughs a little.
"Yeah, I guess so!" I say.

"When are you posting on YouTube? My posting schedule has gotten so messed up lately. Ill probably get my next video out by next weekend. " I'm sat at my desk with my phone leaning on the wall, recording an Instagram live.
I continue reading comments as they flow in, answering some whenever I can. "What's your favorite roll you've played? Ooh that's a hard one." I laugh at the camera.
"I loved my character in X, Ellie's a badass. But my favorite favorite is probably Leah in Fearstreet 78'. That was just such a fun movie to film and I'm still so close with most of the people I met."
I read a few more comments and thank people for compliments until my phone started ringing. "Ooh that's important, I'll talk to yall later, love ya!" I say to the live before ending it and picking up my phone.
I answer the call, it's my agent. "Hey, Mila." I say. "Maizy, you have an in person audition for The Boogeyman!" "Oh my God, really?" I ask excitedly.
"Yes! They want you to do a chemistry read with another actress this Wednesday. " Mila tells me. "Okay, awesome! Do you know the actress?" I ask.
"Yes. Her name is Sophie Thatcher. She'll be reading for Sadie. She already has the part." I'm informed. "Okay, cool. Thanks Mila." "Of course, and I'll send you the rest of the details for the audition."
I give her one last thank you and goodbye before hanging up. I'm so nervous about the audition. I've never played a wlw character before.
I'm no stranger to horror movies, though. This will be my fifth one, horror is definitely where my home is when it comes to acting.
I pull my feet up onto my chair as I go to Instagram. I go to the search bar and type in Sophie Thatcher. To be quite honest I've heard her name before but I'm not really sure who she is. An account pops up, soapy.t and I click on it.
If I didn't already know I was a lesbian, I would have just had my gay awakening. I don't think I've seen a more flawless person.
I click the follow button before leaving Instagram. My excellent spy skills, aka google, has told me that Sophie is 21, one year older than me, and she's very successful.
She played Natalie in the newer show Yellowjackets, Cee in an older movie called Prospect, Becky in a show with a weird title, and she's been in a music video.
I really did just have to get a hot love Interest to make me all the more nervous huh. Anyways, looking forward to Wednesday!

A/N Yay first chapter!! This was so hard for literally no specific reason. I hope now that Maizy is introduced then it'll be smooth sailing. Love ya;)
