It's almost been 24 hours since the chemistry read and I haven't gotten a call from the casting director OR a text from Sophie. I'm not usually an anxious person but this, this shit puts me on edge.
Makeup is what I do when I'm on edge. There's something about sitting in front of a mirror, blasting songs I know every word to, and doing fancy ass makeup that really makes me happy and stress free.
I did a fancy, black liner and gold glitter look. I put on a cute little dress and some red lipstick before I started taking pictures. About 90% of my insta feed and tik toks are showing my makeup looks, that's what my followers look forward to.
When I was done taking pictures and tik toks, I looked through them all. Deleting ones I hated and hearting ones I was going to post. I was taken away from my task when I got a text message from an unknown number.

Once I read that text, and got all smiley, I got a phone call. "Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!" I say to myself when I see the collar ID. It's the casting director for The Boogeyman.
"Hello!" I answer. "Hi, Ms. Logan?" He says. "This is she." I say. "We would like to offer you the part of Liza Preston in our film The Boogeyman." He says. "Absolutely, thank you so much!" I say, just a little too loud, and hang up.
I let out a very audible squeal snd immediately go to my text messages.
Maizy Dude.
Sophie Huh?
Maizy The casting director called

Sophie Hell yeah!
Maizy I'm excited to work with you!
Sophie Me too!
Sophie Hey, would you be down to like hangout or something? You know, do something to celebrate?
