Noah Pov

Celine took a while to return, each second a little too long. She looked so worried, rushing out of here with her eyes glued to the screen.

"Noah, you're whipped," Chad ordered some milkshake and sat next to me slurping the damn thing.

"Huh?" Eliza sat silently across from us, her green eyes watching us like hawks.

"He's not wrong, you are," She added.

"I'm not," I still had my head turned to the door, trying to catch a glimpse of her.

"Noah, you're the biggest whore I know, and yet you haven't fucked the girl. Or so you say," If Chad talks about Celine like she's just another one of my flings, I swear I'll hit him.

"Careful," I grinded my teeth against each other, practically waiting for a reason to push him out of the seat.

"I don't even get it. Celine's hot; beyond hot. But you've been with hot girls before I mean, before you got with Maple, it was a new girl every week. After you and Maple ended, it was nearly every day. And now? Now you've got your balls twisted over some girl who likes another guy," That's it.

I shoved the blonde bastard out of the booth, satisfaction seeping into my bones, "Don't speak about her like that."

"Fuck, calm down," He got back up, dusting himself before sitting back down, "You're getting tense. All I'm saying is word gets around."

"Noah, he isn't wrong. You have a reputation, you know?" Eliza added.

"I don't even know what you guys are talking about right now."

"Dude, please get your head out of your ass and open your eyes. You said you liked her and we want to help, even if she is just a rebound."

"Chad, I swear I'm going to stab you in the neck."

"See?" He pointed at me accusingly, turning his head to Eliza, "That's what I'm talking about. He doesn't act like that."

    "Like what?"

"Like an overprotective, jealous boyfriend," Eliza cut in.

    "It's not like that."

"Did you fuck her?" She tilted her head, searching my face for some answer.

    "No, I didn't."

"Again! You see what I mean?" He twirled his finger in my face yet again.

"If you don't get your fucking finger away from me, I'll break it," He snatched it away, knowing I'd make good on my promise.

"So you're saying you've only kissed the girl?" Eliza ignored my threat, leaning in.

    "Yeah."

"Are you sick or something?" She cocked a brow.

"No. Stop acting like I'm some sex-craved lunatic. I had a couple of flings and now I'm friends with a girl, so what?"

"Friends don't kiss," They both said in unison.

"You guys are the ones to talk. Want me to bring up everything you've done?" I sat further in my seat.

"Look, we just want to help is all," Chad got serious, pushing his half-empty glass aside.

    "I don't need it. I know what I'm doing."

"Do you?" Eliza spoke up, still sipping from Celine's matcha.

The pink-haired freak refused to stop drinking it. It was Celine's, not hers. What gives her the right? I knew I was more than lucky that she hadn't taken the water, ice missing from that glass.
