(Hi <3 have the greatest day/ night of all time <3 )
Vegas had led Pete in the same red corridor, his clothes matching with the walls. His smile was as cynical as the one which had all of the precious King on the paintings. Pete only followed him obediently. He was nothing. He was a Prince. He could do everything. He could do nothing. It bothered him a lot to just walk behind him because he asked but Pete wasn't that scared, he had Angel and Prince Kim. He wasn't alone, he would never be alone again in front of those powerful men now that some of them were considering him.
Acquaintances could change a whole life. Pete was still a little intimidated and flinched physically and mentally when Vegas turned around, his arms up, in a dramatic way. He came over Pete, close, him walking back against the wall, careful to not push the painting, to not break anything. His balance was complicated, his body in a weird shape avoiding everything behind and in front of him and Vegas used his confusion to pull Pete by his collar, revealing a part of his skin. He didn't react at first before pushing the Prince away. Vegas just moved a small amount, a wild smile on his face. "Burnt! Burnt...it's really you." He ended, more confident than ever.
"Wha-what are you talking about?" Pete said the terror in his eyes growing, adjusting the clothes he just messed with.
"The little boy from the yard, got on fire from the grumpy dad ~ " He sang suddenly. "You know that urban legend song right?"
"I-I don't-" He stuttered showing the contrary from what he was saying.
"I never thought that about twenty years after knowing that story, I would find you, Peter the doll." He said getting closer. "You kept your original name, Pete...so close from your stage name...because in fact you never ever forget...from where you really came from..."
"Shut up!" Pete screamed, kneeling on the ground. He didn't want to think about it, to be remembered. He couldn't let those memories take over his brain.
Vegas kneeling too in front of him. "Now, we both know..." He put his chin up, delighting to see that he couldn't resist reality. "Pete...I have something to ask you, I have a plan, you can be part of it...would you like to be part of it ?"
Pete couldn't answer just looking at him. His chest was erratic and his mind thinking of everything from the past, put a movie in front of his eyes, moving, staging his life.
"One two ! No Pete! That's not Peter the doll! Continue!"
"One two. One two. One two. Onetwo.Onetwo.Onetwo. ONETWO."
Vegas left his chin, the sudden touch missing making Pete come back to their reality. He titled his head, smiling coldly as always but with a menacing corner. He knew. It didn't change anything. No one would care about it. Pete just didn't want to find in Vegas another person like his father, he wouldn't let this happen. Never. And as if that thought was enough to not make him surrender he stood up suddenly, mostly making Vegas fall. "W-why ask me?"
