(Hi <3 wishing you the greatest day/night)
"THE FUCK ARE YOU?" The man screamed, aiming at Pete and Vegas who were coming near his house.
"Calm down old man." Vegas just said, walking in front of Pete.
"Dio! What is happening ?" Yok said coming outside, worried at first to see the sword, but even more surprised seeing one man. "Prince..Vegas?"
"That's me." He smiled but Yok's behavior was even more careful. She looked tense. It was that Kim never appreciated Vegas.
"Wa-wait...this..." Pete said, walking slowly to the man, ignoring Vegas' protective hand, and extending his arm to give it.
The man made the link with Yok who recognized the lullaby she always sang to Kim when he was a child. His necklace was also here. She nodded at her brother who put his weapon down. "Come inside." She just said, letting them follow her.
Vegas made a rapport of everything that happened, making Yok more worried for the boy she motherly thought about the one she already adopted. She was also conflicted, she wanted to believe them but a part of her was still doubting them. It was Pete's words who convinced her. It wasn't strategic. He explained all Vegas didn't know about and Joy, in the middle of his speech, jumped on him, sniffed his clothes and purred. She might have smelt Porchay's scent.
"And them? How are they ? Are they still arguing ?"
"No." Pete smiled softly. "I think...that they even became close...closer than any heart can be."
Yok smiled tenderly, not minding Vegas rolling his eyes at those words. "Can we have the paper and go away ?"
"You will stay, the night is coming."
"Did you think that you could order us?"
"We will stay." Pete said firmly eyeing Vegas and he said nothing. "Why should we absolutely stay?"
"Listen, we are far from the castle here. But we know things are bad..." Dio said.
"How bad?"
"It escalated quickly. " He said looking at his sister who couldn't talk. "Prince Kinn escaped, Prince Tankhun took the power but the King had another card. "
