(Hi <3 have the greatest weekend <3 love you )

"Vegas." Kim said looking at him with deadly eyes. "I am repeating myself but hurting, in any way, Yok or Pete, would mean begin a war against us."

Vegas turned to him, stopping putting on his shoes. "I didn't forget, my memory works well, what do you have again?"

"No trust in you."

"Ouch." He laughed. "Don't worry, I won't let go of my chance to wear the crown."

"Wo-won't the King ask where the Prince is ?" Pete asked sitting on a chair.

"I often disappear. He won't...at least before a moment and I am sure that he already forgot that you existed."

Porchay was next to Pete, a hand on his shoulder. The boy was the one to offer to keep an eye on Vegas when Kim came back with those news and they were worried for Yok. He understood that they couldn't go with him, but alone he would be able to take not necessary or to make another deal. Trust wasn't assured by their words. Never betweeen Kim and Vegas. He was here to help. He would always help until the end. For the circus. For them. For his life. He also felt that he wanted to show to Vegas, who he was. To fight the inferiority syndrome he developed again and strongly from him. He would be a part of peace, a small one, but still one.

"Pete, you're sure?" Porchay asked in front of a secret door, used to go out sneakily, Vegas already waiting outside.

"Yes. Angel. Don't worry. I am strong, free and a help." He smiled proudly.

"All of this...is really true..." He answered, hugging Pete, wishing him to take care, stay safe, sharing a little of his physical warmth so Pete wouldn't feel cold.

Kim just watched them. His heart clicking in a wrong way. Really wrong way. He couldn't stop picture the hug. Stop wondering what it meant. What differences existed between this one and the one he gave him some hours ago. A mother hugged. A brother hugged. A friend hugged. It was logical, it was what he learnt through books, experiences, or testimonie. It was human's relationship. And yet he had the awful sensation that he would want their hug to feel different, he had no words to explain it, he knew love. Love just didn't know how to be translated in his brain. His loving mother died early for him, his brothers showed love but it was kinda dry, the moment they understood how Kim was, they adapted themselves to him.

If he hated physical contact we would stay away, Tankhun really had a hard time understanding this but he also tempered his actions, being more verbal. And everyone around him was royaly respectful, his father not showing any signs, cold, like him and he thought that he was too. He knew love, he was loved but the more he grew older, the less he experienced it and the more confused it was for him now. It wasn't useful, it was perishing and making someone weak. So why? Why abandon strategy for this? And yet he was eager to put words on the mess in his emotions. Because Pete now looked like a menace when he had nothing at all to be scared about him. "Pete." He said bringing his attention to him. "Never trust Vegas. Don't take any risk. Run away from danger and keep an eye on him. Can you promise this?" He asked his hand on his shoulder.
