"Wait... other side of the border? How does it work?"
"Well... a combination of glitches and potions."
"Potions? Which?" Scar knew Bdubs had absolutely no interest in potions whatsoever, so this was probably to get attention.
"A special one. It doesn't have a name, but it's made from one of these." Grian pulled out a circular grey and blue object, about the size of his palm. "Recovery compass!" whispered B.
"What does it do?" asked Scar, in spite of himself.
"Points to the spot someone last died. Right now..."
"What's over there?" asked Bdubs. Scar cursed him mentally for being so tactless. Didn't he see the flicker of sadness that has passes across his cousin's features?
"D-dad." he managed to get out. "A wonderful man.. but much better at redstone than survival."
(HINT HINT)
"Anyway, you get splashed with the potion, as it gives you the ability to Faze, then get in the boat and use a glitch..." he demonstrated this, ending up on the other side.
"What's a glitch?" (Bdubs)
"Never mind. The important thing is that we can spy on people. Tell everyone, will you?"
"But why would you need to spy on someone?"
"Never mind, we'll best be off." Cleo dragged scar's brother by his collar and pulled him.
Scar found himself wondering about all the questions he had. "Let's see.. how G lost his finger, why they need weapons, who TIES is, what a creeper is, who his dad is, how and where he died, and why on earth would they need to spy on someone."
He began to realise that there were some rather large holes in the picture of the world he had been brought up in.
