The ambience of the jungle echoes across the village, birds chirping, fire crackling, the wind whirling and growling. The stars succumb onto the morning sky as the sun slowly rises, the moon sets down. Moana is the first to awake, the village wasn't going to run itself..can it? She prepares breakfast, Fish, rice, pork, chicken, a side of coconut, and some fresh water will be the cherry on top. Although she wasn't certain she did a good job on the rice. She plopped down, waiting for her Mother, Sina and her Father, The Chief Tui. After breakfast was to go about the Village and make sure everything running smoothly, which she did so.

Villagers gathered crops in small fields, Some of the people laying down beautifully colored and embroidered mats. Children played with small replicas of their neighboring animals, chasing each other around. One almost bumps into Moana, who lifted an arm up for the child to pass through. Pua pushes a bowl with his head, coming to a halt once he set it where he wanted it to be. It catches rain drops, coming from leaks in the ceiling. He hoped to catch some water as he sat patiently.
"Uh, every storm, this roof leaks no matter how many fronts I add!" One villager says, annoyed at the fact his roof is leaking ever time the rain passes by.
"Fixed!" Moana says from above, her parents and the villager's looking up at her. She jumps down, "Not the fronts," she catches a support, swinging down as she shifting and grunted before finally plummeting down, fixing her haku, "Wind shifted the post." She informed, picking a peice of the villager's pork as he hummed, slightly impressed. Moana hummed at the taste of pork, "That's some good pork!" She proudly compliments him, Pua squealing from below, catching Moana's attention. He pouted, offended at the saying of Moana liking pork.
"Oh..Well I mean..I wasn't, Oh! They're..calling me! So I gotta..Bye!" She awkwardly gestured before dashing off in embarrassment and guilt. Moana gently patted a man's had, as he was either in agony or overreacting from getting poked with ink for the results of a Kākau uhi. The man asked in pain,
"Is it done yet?" He asks, before shrieking once the artist who's creating the art continues with his work. Moana peers behind, seeing that they're nowhere near done, she exchanges looks with Pua,
"So..close!" She lies, the man shrieking more. Moana gracefully moves her hips to the beat of a song, her hand extending right as she brings her fingers out and in. Her eyes scan over the children who had been mirroring her movements, making sure they were dancing promptly. Girls dance with their hips, while the boys tap their feet. Moana smiles, before taking notice of a young boy who intervenes, with curly hair, and professional dancing skills, but he wasn't dancing properly. He seemed to be trying to impress Moana, he briefly ran a hand through his curly hair, before turning to Moana, winking before blowing a kiss. Moana cringed briefly before awkwardly smiling and laughing.
"I am curious about that chicken," A man, sitting down, crossed legged, points at Moana's chicken, hei hei, who was currently pecking a smooth rock.
"Eating the rock, he seems to lack the basic intelligence required to pretty much..everything." The man says, picking food from steaming rocks as the rocks shoot out a large amount of steam, "Should we maybe just, cook him?" He implies, Moana hesitates,
"Uh..sometimes our strengths lie beneath the surface," she glances down at Hei Hei who gets a hold of the rock, chugging it down before it gets stuck in his throat, surprisingly, Hei Hei didn't seem bothered, "Far beneath, in..some cases, but..I'm sure there's more to Hei Hei than meets the eye." She smiles assuringly, But was interrupted by Hei Hei making a sound. Hei Hei chocked and coughed, before managing to spit the rock out, and like the gullible chicken he is, he goes back to pecking the rock.
