"So, what's your name?" The tall, blue creature crouched down in front of Moana. Moana only released a glass shattering scream which caused the other Aliens to shield their ears, some birds even flew out of their trees. Unfortunately for Moana, her scream only fell on deaf ears. She opened her eyes, The humanoid Aliens attention was not focused on her, but Pua, who was roughly biting on the Aliens legs, as if it were trying to defend Moana. She had a chance to scoop up her Paddle off the ground, jabbing The creature in the chest. He recoiled, but was unharmed. He rubbed the spot where Moana had poked, Looking at her again, with a cold expression. His eyes narrowed at her, Moana felt like she was shrinking under his glare as her face softened. She was pressed up against a tree, A human to four more aliens, How could she possibly make her way out of this situation? She slowly slid her left leg outward, then her right in the same Direction. Her plan to make a move was ruined once the Alien extended a hand to prevent her from escaping,
"I can't let you go..." He said, slightly shaking his head in disapproval. Moana hit him in the wrist, Causing him to hiss in pain, giving Moana a chance to bring Pua to her arms and dash. Unfortunately for her, athe Alien recovered quickly and didn't even need to chase after Moana, who was sprinting through the bushes. He took five steps toward her and wrapped a hand around her middle, Bringing her close to h him. Moana kicked her feet and slammed her fist on his arms, but the Alien resisted the urge to let Moana out of his arms and scurry off again. He didn't keep her in the air too long, he lowered himself just enough so Moana's feet could touch the ground. He spun her around, placing his hands on both of her shoulders so she couldn't escape. Moana only fought back, she even attempted to blow a few punches which resulted in her fighting with pure air. Once The Alien saw Moana wasn't going to surrender, He turned her around so her back could face him, grabbing her arms so they could be behind her, and pushed her onto the ground all so swiftly. His grip tightened on her arms the more she wouldn't stop moving, following that, Moana cried out in pain in her native islander language, her fighting slowly came to a stop. The aliens grasp on her wrist loosened at the sign of her body growing tired. The rest of the adult aliens were behind the one which was tackling Moana. Pua watched in fear as he scooted away, squealing as he did so. The blue female alien stepped forward,
"MaJake, You should just let me kill it, now." She said, Nocking her arrow at Moana. Jake sighed,
"Wait, Neytiri."He held up a hand, Neytiri muttered as she paced around, something about how Jake uses 'Wait' as an excuse every time danger is near. Jakes gaze went deeper into Moana's eyes, making him seem intimidating, Moana looked oddly different from the humans Jake would see, more, cartoonish. Moana drew her attention to the marks on her wrist, then brought up a hand to tender the wound, constant winces of pain breathed from her lips as she rubbed the mark. Jake then took the paddle, securing it away from Moana's reach, He spoke in a deadpan tone,
"You listen to me, If I spare you, you won't mention us to anyone, but you make a stupid move and you'll regret your decision." He said, the words printed into Moana's brain in a rush before she stared him down and up, raising a brow. Jakes face hardened, causing Moana to groan before nodding. Jake tossed the paddle over to Moana, who took it hastily, before shooting straight up as she embraced Pua in her arms. Moana took notice of Jake returning to his group, before saying,
"Who are you?" She said, Jake shook his head, Moana spoke once again, "What are you doing on my island..?" She tuck her chin up, rotating her paddle to be facing upwards and confidently placed it on the ground. Jake rasped,
"I suggest you leave.." His back face Moana as he continued to walk back. Moana quietly scoffed, before shooting back,
"I just asked a question!" She argued, furrowing her brows. Neytiri hissed back,
"I will just kill you right where you stand, demon." She said, drawing her arrow once more. Moana squinted at Neytiri,
"Demon? You're the one invading my home coming from who knows where!" Moana gestured to herself, rolling her eyes. The much more teal, taller male alien spoke,
"You should just go to your home, now." He said, sound calm but cold at the same time. Moana turned bodily to him, Saying one word slowly and clearly,
"No." She shook her head, pulling Pua in closer as she place her hand on her hips. The teal female Alien growled at Moana, Moana didn't bat an eye, "Oh, and you need me, or you won't survive out here." She added, slightly smirking. Neytiri barked back,
"We will never accept help from sky people." She then drew her arrow, letting go of the tip of the arrow as it lunged forward to Moana. Luckily, she had instincts, the wide part of her paddle flew to shield her face, and so it did. The Arrow was surprisingly larger than a normal arrow Moana would see, it went into her paddle, but not through it. Moana stumbled back, overwhelmed with the sudden surprises and plummeted to the ground. The Paddle was still in her hold, Jake dashed for Neytiri, just about to pull another Arrow. He hurried out in a whisper,
"Neytiri, don't you realize that if we kill her her people will hunt us!?" He placed a hand on her shoulder, using his free hand to lower the bow. Neytiri's glare never left Moana's, her golden eyes shimmering in the moon light. Moana yelled,
"You know, I'm normally accepting! My whole village is, but you're just making it seem like I'm not!" She said, putting emphasis into her words it almost seemed as if she were on the brink of crying. There was silence, Silence so loud Moana could hear her own heart beating in her ears. Jake had turned to Moana, a new expression that took over his face, He stepped towards her, stopping when he was just towering her. He looked down upon her,
"If we let you take us in, you won't betray us?" He said, trying to confirm that Moana's words were true, in which they were as she nodded passionately. Jake paused, then turned back to the others, who shared uncertainty between their gazes. Jake turned to Moana, offering a hand, one which was much bigger than her, she grasped onto one finger and Jake brought her to her feet.
